Hey,
I pre-ordered elder scrolls online hoping I would get to play it right at release. But due to several issues with my internet and computer it never ended up happening. I have payed my subscription since release and still not played the game. So i have to come to a conclusion, ask for a refund for the initial game fees (I know I probably can't get the subscription fee refunded) or get the game on my pc and start playing now.

I have figured out a way to get the game on to my computer without the internet causing problems, I will copy it from a friends external hd.

But here is the thing... I have had several of my friends say the game was not worth it and got a refund for themselves just due to their lack of interest in the game.

Im still debating whether to try it or move on, any comments?

It's still a work in progress.... Especially end game. They just announced some positive changes earlier today in their Road Ahead. The 1-50 game is great so if you should be fine.

I'd get a refund if you plan on trying to play with a shoddy internet connection. You will end up being angry over lag and random server kicks. What about future updates? Will you be getting those from your friend too? I'm sorry to be a downer, but I wouldn't even consider it with those odds. It is a decent game though.

Since you already paid the initial price for the game - i would say seeing for yourself whether you like the game or not(instead of relying on 3rd party for impressions) is worth $15. Pay for a month, play it, if you don't like it cancel.

So...you bought the game, activated your subscription, and paid for three months without playing once? I think I'm beginning to lose faith in humanity. (That was a joke, since I know someone will take me seriously.)

Anyways, it's always worth a try. Whether you end up liking it or not, at least you'll know.

Hell yeah start playing. The initial 1-50 levels were fantastic, only went downhill after reaching VR.
My advice (especially if you play Alts) do 1-50 on your main character, then run an alt and experience the other factions BEFORE you venture into VR !

... No, it would be a waste of money.... :o

Like someone said, the game is worth it but if you got a crappy connection just forget it really but that goes for most MMOs
