Closing discussion of exploits

barbg88ub17_ESO
It seems you are trying to hide something by closing that discussion regarding exploits.
They are discussed at length on the chat every minute of every day, Will you be editing chat next or doing something to stop this problem and strongly discourage players from using these tactics. This is a big deal and the exploits are making the game unplayable, You need to police the issue and strongly lay down the hammer so everyone stops this.

Since I see at least one open thread about exploits with a green response about how to report them, I can only assume you're referring to threads that explain how to exploit. They shut those down because it only encourages cheating.

I went ahead and looked at the thread, and sure enough, there was plenty of discussion of the specific kinds of exploits one could see in-game, as well as an invitation to show how the exploits are achieved via video.

As the moderator in that thread specifically said:
We also do not allow the discussion of exploits on our forums, as it encourages others to try those potential exploits. As a result, we've closed this thread. Thank you for your understanding.

So that would be the opposite of hiding something. That's actually fairly transparent.

And ofc it couldn't have anything to do with the players starting or responding to such threads specifically naming individuals on the thread. Granted I'm for it if you can prove 100% without any shadow of a doubt it was cheating/hacking/exploiting/etc (even though it's against CoC, cheaters should not be tolerated) but the problem is most of the time people can't say proof positive that it is. That's why I've seen a ZoS employee come on to ALL of those threads and remind people to report the player in game so they can investigate.

As said above it's also because there are often times multiple responses that actually describe HOW the cheat/exploit/hack is being done, which just makes more cheaters lol.
