The 1.2.4 number is the one that shows up when i get into the game before selecting character. Not sure on launcher version. So he does seem to be up to date. Ah, thought he was talking about the launcher itself.
This is 1.2.5, the version that shows in the bottom left corner in game has often been inaccurate. Possibly due to hotfixes that get added that weren't given the correct version number or because they forgot to update the version number.

Don't worry guys, one of the German forums brought this up and Kai Schober confirmed it is just a display bug which will be fixed with 1.2.6 next week.I can has typing!0
