FPS lagg and all thats been happening these last weeks, as if it couldnt get worse yet again.

Logged in today, 45 queue line to get into cyrodiil, "fine" I tought. I was in line for about 25 minutes while doing some crafting etc.

I get in, I start pvping, its all good for about 10 minutes. Then notice some wierd lagg on abilities etc. Suddenly booted, theres a rollback apparently, but I was rolledback to reapers march. I hit enter campaign....166 in queue, "*** this" I tought and logged out.

Certainly doesnt give me second toughts about my decision to not renew my sub when it ends in a couple weeks. I really, really think this game needs a looong time to get to a playable state. If and when that happens, I just hope theres enough players left to keep it afloat....really doubt it tho.

Its sad, because I really like the game...but the way its run....terrible.

Well, you may have noticed that this is the only thread complaining that today's hotfix made things worse....

The queue you're encountering is due to the rush of people now going back to Cyrodiil, and most likely that would be the cause of any glitches you experience on the way. You're basically trying to get in to Best Buy on Black Friday. Be patient.

I don't think you have been reading the forums. This is clearly your fault.

L2p, get a better computer, go back to WoW, can I have your stuff, and a few other nonsense things....

Sorry, Man. I hope they fix this soon. I don't want ESO to lose anyone. The more players the better the game can be.

Unless this rollback keeps happening then what happened to you was a non-issue. Population caps on campaigns are necessary and there are many other campaigns you can guest in to at that time.

The FPS issues over the past week were bad, but you deciding to make this topic over one disconnect in Cyrodiil and encountering a PVP queue is ridiculous.

Clearly that's what I meant when I said that the rush of people getting back into Cyrodiil was the most likely cause of the issues.

But you're right. Totally overreacting and preaching about the end of the game is a much more reasonable response.

Proof that the game has a very large population.

I think the queue is just waiting for enough players to start a new game since all the other active ones are full.

Queues for cyrodiil do not equate to "very large game population" nice try though.

Any time someone leaves the game because of lag in the game, loading screens, queues rollbacks or issues with bad code:
    • It's the game that suffers from a decrease in funding.
    • It's the other players who suffer from the withdrawal of another player/friend/guildie/trader/consumer.
    • It's the game's rep that suffers from one more 'ex-player' dissuading his friends from joining.

      Sure, it's only one player/account.
But he's not the first, only, or last player to quit over these reasons alone.

How many more are people willing to sacrifice from my game, and my game experience, and the experience of other players who look around at the blank spot where their friends used to be....

Some people on this forum act as if they're looking forward to weeding out other players any way possible, as if being the last guy in on the server is some sort of accomplishment.
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

But it does show that all active games are full, which is usually only the case when many players are trying to get in.

The fix helped a large population but did not help everyone. The did say there will be a few more fixes that should get everyone else fixed but you have to let them know if you still have problems.

Don't forget that they stealth nerfed the campaign population caps back in 1.1 when they were trying to get rid of the lag.

Don't forget that they stealth nerfed the campaign population caps back in 1.1 when they were trying to get rid of the lag.

They're going to have to do it again because it's evident that the current server populations (on the active servers) are not friendly to most players.

This was NOT a complaint about the queue getting into cyrodiil. It was a complaint about the rollbacks that seem to be back, last time they happened every 10-20 minutes for a whole day, I saw no evidence that this would be any different, since there was a rollback 2 minutes before I logged on today.

I simply have better things to do then have my playtime "deleted" every 20 minutes or so and having to requeue to get in everytime.

I respect that other people dont mind this, but me personally dont see this as an issue I can overcome.

The rollbacks are back because they never actually fixed them. It's due to the population density on active servers. You won't see rollbacks on the dead campaigns.

Game crashes for everyone on the server and the last 10 minutes of distance traveled, alliance points earned, even keeps capture is reset to what it was before.

Why do you always feel the need to insult or talk down to others? Who are you to discredit this persons issue? Every post I have read of yours always involves you attempting to lessen, insult or attack the poster you are responding to. It's not right and you contribute nothing other than creating a hostile environment. Did your mother never tell you if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all?:rage:

So your problem is that you and hundreds of other people apparently haven't realized that their are NUMEROUS campaigns to choose from.

Your complaint is basically that all the players out there are choosing to try to cram into a single campaign. Again... not really the fault of the developer. There are multiple campaigns, the majority of which are well below their maximum.

Campaigns are like individual servers.... Pick one with a lighter population. If you and everyone else that was queued up would do that there might actually be two competitive campaigns going.

Edit: I suppose the solution though could come from the developer. They should simply take away the choice of which campaign you get. When you choose to enter Cyrodiil the computer should just automatically dump you into the lowest population server(campaign).

And you're positive it is everyone in that game? You have friends with you who get the same crash, at the same time?
