Is the new 'anti-lag' patch causing more lag?

Today, I played before and after the hot patch. It was better before the hot patch. Not sure why.

From the zone chat, it seems I may not be alone.

Wasn't a lag patch it was a FPS patch.

the patch marginally reduced lag, and the hotfix worked out the fps.
