Where is downloaded patch file?

When you download a patch through the client, where on the machine is the file, and can it be copied to another machine and placed in same folder location to avoid downloading it 3 times (There's 3 of us in the house playing and we are close to going over the allowed limit each month)
Are there instructions on how to do it? We're on Windows 8 or 8.1

You could, in theory, just copy the entire "live" folder, and it should work.There's 3 of us in the house playing, can we download the file once, then copy it to other machines to avoid going over our limit and being charged extra by our ISP?
