Just a Reminder...

Starting next week on Monday, July 7th, you’ll see the first significant change we’re making to the Veteran System. We’re implementing some balance changes to content in post-50 zones that will make it much more like the content from levels 1-50. Our goal is to remove the feeling of “I have just hit a wall of difficulty” that many of you have expressed—you’ll be able to solo much more easily. This is just the first of many large-scale changes coming to ESO’s Veteran System, and we encourage you to watch our QuakeCon panel on Friday, July 17th, where we’ll go into much more detail about the other parts.

Thank you for sticking with us, sharing your concerns, and supporting a game we all love.

Let's not forget that this big "nerf" to Vet content is only the first of several large-scale changes.

I think it's our responsibility as subscription holders to present our feedback in a form which the Dev team can use. There is no reason additional adjustments can't be included in future updates.

Let's assume Veteran calibration is in process and that the sky hasn't crumbled at our feet. Let's react in a fashion that says, "We want to help you make the game better."

they are "revealing" changes in quakecon, not "proposing and asking for feedbacks".

We shall see. I am holding my V1 temp until dust is settled.

    Constructive posts are always welcome.

I don't know what else they have planned, so I'm not sure how to proceed except to say, I hope it is well tested.

I think putting patches like this in the beta server first, to see players reactions would have been a good idea.

    Have a nice day. :)

I can see that point of view.

I can also see the point of view that says; Let's push this live so we can get the opinion of our more casual players for whom we are making the changes, since these folks are unlikely to be on the PTS.

I can't speak for Zenimax, of course, but if your target demographic isn't going to be available to test the changes, how do you get their feedback?

I play fairly casually and I didn't hate the Vet levels as they were, however, I have limited playtime. I didn't enjoy spending as much of that limited time as I did doing the same encounter over and over, and I sure as heck am not going to spend that limited time playing on a test server. I imagine other casual players feel similarly.

What is their version of the use of a test server? I wonder. They do have one...

I wish they hadn't changed the difficulty. Personally, I think what is needed is other content that does not involve having to level via questing in the opposing factions territory, and perhaps fix the FPS problems in Cyrodil, for the pvp crowd.

The main issue is to keep people engaged in the game and story line, for those who like the lore and RP aspect of the game. Add arenas or some sort of dueling grounds for those who seek to test their skills against other players.

Just gonna have to wait and see what direction the dev team is going to take.

    i say,
"leave it the way it is right now because i love solo and i hate fighting hard bosses and hard mobbs and monsters with uber huge health"
    also
"it would be awesome if people did have a choice to start a dungeon or cave with different level of hard or easy mobbs inside depending on which type of player they are because some people love hard to fight mobbs, monsters, and bosses. im just not one of those people because i do love easy to kill mobbs, monsters and bosses."

    thank you
