The FPS issue is not tolerable, yet the PN state 'a fix that may help some (not others)".
What Gives? Can you PLEASE tell us what the hell is going on? What can we do on our end to fix/limit this?

Bottom line, RvR is broken, and even PvE can get that way, but a log will fix that. Not convenient to in Cyrodil, and even if you do immediately at next zerg bam back to 5 fps.

The way the post reads, states that we have done the best we can, and it still exists, so live with it. Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent. My guild canceled ALL RvR events because it was pointless this week. YOU CANNOT GO INTO A FIGHT AND HEAR AND SEE THEM DAMAGE YOU BUT THERE ARE NO ENEMIES AROUND YOU!!!!!!!!

Get it? PLEASE post something more specific about it. To me it looks to be associated with the amount of ram you have. I have 4 gb, so its real bad. The ones that can see me for long time before I see them must have more, like some people around 16 gb (yes I now the video memory also matters, but gtx650i is not the workhorse).

This will make the Future of RVR gone, and honestly you need to roll out the enhancement that broke the game if so.

It looks to me like the people who created the core game functions are no longer working in zenimax. (they may have left for being forced to release early or something)
And now some amateurs are adding new things here and there, breaking more and more things in the game...

Lol is this true? And if so source. If this is the case that explains a lot and is a very bad sign of things to come.

I have been saying forever that the ideas behind this game are awesome but the fixes and implementation of patches has been *** poor. A changing of dev teams especially to those less familiar with original design would be a huge reason for this terrible development.

If there is truth to this a statement regarding the current state at zeni should have been given perhaps a more compassionate clientele they would have.

And if this is the case zeni should have spent way more time testing patches prior to their release instead of pushing crap out.

I'm going to take a break until this is fixed, as have many of my friends. Cyrodil is my primary interest, but I have no interest in it until it works again.

This isn't an "I quit" post, as I'm not going to unsub. The game is terrific, and I would guess the degree of difficulty is very high for something like Cyrodil, a massive zone where you can have hundreds of players packed into the same area. That has to be difficult.

I'm patient, and I'll wait for a while. Just not in-game.

You're a fool if you plan on paying for something you're not playing. Unsubscribing is the most powerful thing we can do that will yield results. If you just sit there and pay without playing, what's the motivation for them to actually try and fix this crap? They're still getting paid and they don't have to do anything.

What is your source for this? As of the convention, seems all the core people are there.

Devs still waiting for an answer...... noticed you took time to address a thread about black hair and patch 1.2.5.... hmmmmm wow.....

It seems this is a client/server communication issue.

When things get busy, your client stops while waiting for data from the server. This would also explain the abrupt *decrease* in GPU and CPU usage when this happens.
The lag is in the server response, your hardware is basically idle waiting for the server.

This would fit right into the known flaws of the client/server implementation in ESO. As suggested numerous times, they should really switch to a prediction based model and use stateless communication that doesn't require a handshake.

Alas, nobody at @ZOS seems to be listening ...

It only happens to me (and still does) in Cyrodil during a siege battle.
My fps will go from 50fps to 5 fps and then stay at 5 fps no matter where I am in Cyrodil. If I port out of Cyrodil to any pve zone it goes back to normal (50-60fps)
Doesn't matter if my settings are maxed or minimum.

    Win 8
    3.5ghz I7 processor
    24gb ram (it isn't a ram issue)
    2tb disk
    gtx660ti 2gb vm

No temperature issues or memory leaks.
