I've got a lot of addons so I figured something broke following a patch awhile back, but I was never able to discover the source. It only shows up for like 10 seconds after initially logging in. Anybody know what it is?

emeraldbay✭✭✭✭✭It's not Azurah, I had this happen before I ever installed Azurah, and I have it disabled now anyways. What I do know is that it's connected to the health bar, whatever it is, and it doesn't disappear until I target something else that has health. Also, it doesn't look like this person has reticle settings installed, so it's likely just another game issue. It sort of looks like the shape of the end things that show up on a health bar when you're looking at a boss, only..red and glowy. 0 -

david271749✭✭✭✭✭Do you have lui? I'm just guessing. I get this too, but it goes away. Lui is a little like ftc, but I just use it for the damage and crit dmg pop effects. I hate ftc's scroll.0 -
pinstripesc✭✭✭I don't, no. I've got Azurah, Combat Cloud, Combat Indicator, and ggframes (started long before I got that one). The rest, I dunno how they could have anything to do with it ex. Skyshards, Spent Skillpoints, etc.0

david271749✭✭✭✭✭Could be combat indicator. I use that one too. I didn't like the font that combat cloud used. It's not that one. I wouldn't rule out the ones you didn't list though.0

pinstripesc✭✭✭I might try disabling that one then, cuz I've had it since the dawn of time. Combat Cloud has lotsa font options, actually. Though apparently addons can share fonts, so, guess I can't say for sure how many of them actually came from CC.0

Especially considering most are still WIP, and we're still pretty early into the life of this game, you are just asking for problems and conflicts. I know this is an ES game and mods are boss (no pun intended
) but 40 for this installment seems way excessive. On second thought, let's not go to the forums. 'Tis a silly place.2 -
pinstripesc✭✭✭It's really not hard to get a lot of them stacked up. I've got 38 now. Some of them are for stupid things that shouldn't really require an addon, like saving images as JPGs (having said that, I think I saw an option to toggle that in the ini the other day), toggling your helmet with a hotkey, showing the style of gear, custom map markers, chat showing character names instead of usernames, loot drops, spent skill points, additional skill info so you're not guessing so much....etcetcetc.Edited by pinstripesc on July 7, 2014 1:27PM0

Then I suggest the half-split method:
- Disable half the add-ons at a time to narrow down on where the issue is.
-> 20 -> 10 -> 5 -> 3/2 -> 2/1 won't take long.
This assumes that the issue is caused by a single add-on and not a combination of add-ons. If it is a combination then things are more complicated but you can probably still narrow down using the half-split by running different splits.
