So I was doing some questing in the Veteran rank 2 area, and it struck me that I had not even come in contact with the leader ship of the EP (I don't want to anyway). So the question is: do i have to do the quests for the leadership like i did in the AD or can i just level up to Vet 6 and move on to the DC zones once I reach that level?

You have to complete all the main story lines for each faction to complete Cadwell's Silver and Gold, so eventually, you will come across the main leaders for each faction.

It bugged me too, but that's the way they designed it afterall.

Yep I started to do the main story line. The problem is that I really don't care about the other alliances.
