Make dungeons and bosses solo-able

Dungeons and world bosses are still too hard. Please scale down all dungeons so they can be done by a single player. Please please.

    I still don't get why dungeon instances can't be scaled to the number of players in a group.

    I'd like this in the future, when all the major fixing is done.

    3 things to reduce stamina/magicka imbalance :
    - Use magicka to block abilities costing magicka, instead of stamina.
    - Add % damage reduction to heavy armor.
    - Add block penetration to 2H.

    Your comment reminds me that some single mobs are also too hard like trolls or frost atronachs. Please scale them down too. We need a balance and the most balanced creatures are wolves and skeevers.

    That's what i thought after i read news about VR changes yesterday.
    PS
    However i would like to see solo versions of dungeons, so i could complete quests and enjoy the story w/o a bunch of ppl constantly screaming "hurry up, bro"! With a team there is really no time to read stuff.

    By the way I think it would be great to introduce text badges over each npc indicating difficulty, for instance: 1 skillbar, faceroll etc.

    I'm very much in the 'sololer' camp and one of the many who hate VR as it is right now, but not everything in the game SHOULD be soloable and the content you talk about is a great example.

    I'm totally against forced-grouping .. and also forced-soloing .. on core game content needed to level and progress one's character, but the group dungeons and world bosses aren't remotely like that and there is no need for them to be soloable.

    Even as a 'soloer' I love doing Dolmens and world bosses in a 'loose' group .. I don't much like formal groups where one's always subject to jerks running parsers, telling you your byild is crap and other anti-social things .. so I certainly don't want to see that stuff nerfed, there's no reason for it to change.

    I have trouble with mudcrabs in pairs. All mobs should be able to pulled as singles.

    Also, if I start a dungeon with a group and realise 3 minutes later that I have to go to bed I should still get credit when the group finds a replacement and finishes it.

    In Dungeons and Dragons Online, each dungeon had three settings.

    Easy, normal and epic.

    Easy was pretty much a solo dungeon but with less rewards. Normal was what we have now. Epic would be really hard for a normal party, but with better rewards.

    This was a nice feature. Solo would be like doing a dungeon in Skyrim.

    I am a big TES fan and roll solo, and I say no. So far, the places I've needed help such as group dungeons, I was always able to find players who wanted to team up. Learn how to use zone chat and find people to group with. The satisfaction of playing in a group and beating an enemy through teamwork is unlike doing it solo and an MMO should have group activities. If you can't play it alone, get a group or go do something else.

    I want everything scaled to me. I want to play naked except for a nice tiara I found in the starter zone and pair of slippers. I want to use a fishing rod as a weapon with a knife and fork weapon switch for when things get tough. I want to use only the abilities that have nice pictures. I like red so yeah red abilities are fine......


    Now ZOS. give me something I can kill NOW!

    The fishing rod as a weapon has merit so that you can have proper immersion when get to a fishing hole (just where was that rod kept?). The knife and fork weapon switch idea is clearly ridiculous. That's OP.

    World Bosses are fine the way they are.



    As for group dungeons all you need for everyone to be happy is to scale the content to # of players in your instance,

    Solo - Amount of enemies are reduced to a max of 4 per encounter. Bosses get a significant HP and DPS decrease


    Duo - amount of enemies is slightly reduced. Bosses get a marginal decrease in stats


    3 - 4 group. The way they are now.



    Everyone wins.

    But I can't solo some world bosses spamming biting-jabs? They're insanely hard.

    Also.. some of them keep knocking me over. Again and again. What's up with that?
