Difficulty - Perhaps a difficulty slider or options to tick?

Why not have a slider or difficulty options to select?

That way, you'd tick all the boxes, i.e:

1. Easy mode - Gives the non dodging/blocking types a chance to progress but they don't get cool loot drops or achievement icons which means they have to buy gear from crafters etc. They 'pay' for having it easier as it were.

2. Standard mode - Just as is it now, 100% exactly the same.

3. Hard mode - For those serious full time gamer's that want a challenge, and as a reward they for completion of tasks they get rare loot drops as a reward plus some other fancy icon for competition of quests/tasks.

I'm not sure something like this would work or how it would effect the economy moving forward, and while I know we have veteran and normal for dungeons, why not this type of thing instead? wouldn't that tick all the boxes? It would make PvP funny too :)

Discuss.
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

As mentioned in every other thread: this doesn't work in MMOs unless you create different instances of the world. Which kills grouping and defeats the entire purpose of the megaserver.

And that said, why should we have a place for people who can't block/dodge? Is it that hard? What happened to learning new things? And what happened to the demand for a new kind of MMO combat?
