✭If that had been from almost any other media outlet apart from Forbes I'd have taken it more seriously. Yes... they may well be right, but Forbes are renowned for being bias depending who's paying for an article.

He asks questions like "who ever asked for an Elder Scrolls MMO in the first place?" Well, lots and lots of people over the years...
More importantly, his argument boils down to not liking the subscription fee. I honestly think that people are way more concerned about game design issues and balancing and stuff than the sub fee. I mean, even if this game was F2P, it would still be more like "free to unplayable" for a ton of people. Empty calories at best.
Also, you should mention in your post that the article is 6 months old, rather than linking it like it's some fresh info on the matter.1 -

I get what he is saying about how players don't like subscription models; however, as a player I cannot relate to it.
I have had more than my fill of *** f2p models. If ESO does end up going that way I'll be likely to quit playing because I don't want to make that kind of downgrade.I'm actually a forum moderator on a f2p game, so I have to deal with tons of headache around the f2p community. Forbes didn't have the readers in the first play, I.E. the reason for the slanderous article. ES however did plenty of players (previous titles) and NO company has done a better job at losing so many as quick by doing so little right and so much wrong :P
