Curved Swords...Curved. Swords.

So I was walking thru Coldharbour and saw a V1 with two swords, one of them looked Altmer style but curved, pics I've found so far show Altmer swords as straight. Was this a Ebony/Calcinium version? Do the later versions curve? Thanks

Generally, curved swords are of redguard design.

Khajiit swords are curved as well.

Argonian swords are sort of re-curved; they look like khukris.

I've seen Ebony/Calcinium version of redguard and other swords but none of Altmer, the sword this guy had had the Altmer hilt, looked kinda like the Queen Aldmeri sword

I've got one right now, but it was sent in the PvP rewards mail so I'm not sure what the style is. It does look bad @$$ though.

The swords that curve are Khajiit, Redguard, Bosmer and Daedic. I think you would have recognized Daedric right away, so it is eliminated. Redguard curves only slightly, so its really between Khajiit and Bosmer. The former has a crescent moon on the hilt, the latter had a pretty rough texture and not much of a hilt.

In Oblivion Altmer and Aylieds had both curved and uncurved swords.

The Elven short swords were curved like the Altmer Daggers.
The Elven Longswords (normal swords) were straight.

I don't know enough about Dunmer or Khajiit swords to guess at those.
