patch 1.2.3+ Former Emperor count.

Does anyone have official numbers of former emperors since patch 1.2.3 dropped? I think one server had over 20 so far.

Just about every one of the low pop campaigns has had people trying, desperately, to farm emperor. I think Hopesfire might be the exception (for obvious reasons).

Chrysamere, Goldbrand, et al. It's a joke.

I stopped wearing my former tag. It's been tainted and destroyed by these people.

I thought earning Emperor on Bloodthorn (an EP emp on the bluest of blue servers) would mean something.

Within a week of campaign reset it's been crapped on. Some of the worst type of players have started wrecking every spirit and meaning of the game they can for their own gain.

In the end, they're going to find themselves alone in an empty wankfest of a campaign with no opposition to play against and nothing to do but farm their own alts.

These people are the gamer equivalent of scum.

I was there when you earned it too, it was legit. You did not farm that, I was there trying everything I could with my guildies to stop you along with the blues, if anything just because I knew thats where the fight would be.

AD and DC were swapping emperors on Celarus about every 30 minutes at one point - I think they have crowned a few dozen at least.

After dethroning Sunrest, we brought a freight train down on you guys.

I think we had every EP player on Bloodthorn there at Roe that night minus a few scouts to watch Ales/Ash.

Can't say I'm sad to see them go but send my condolences to those campaigns. Celarus has been quite a bit of fun since they left. We also have punch and pie.

I will say I enjoy watching the very bad groups ( you can tell they came from a Zerg server) try and take a keep that is even moderately defended. It's absolutely scrub city and humorous to watch. Without extreme numbers, these nooblets can be routed very quickly. I suggest gate farming and a miserable experience for all of them. I will gladly take 15 of my EP brethren and destroy every single keep wall in cyrodiil just to be annoying

I would gladly help you in this cause. Sadly, unless the wind is blowing in the right direction and unguarded keeps are in the central ring, the farmers go underground. Actual fighting (yes against ppl who fight back and don't just allow themselves to die repeatedly for AP) is a chore for them and not efficient in their despicable farming.

I had a blast on dawnbreaker last night... actual large groups attacking and defending keeps, 3 way battles, small skirmishes.... and an EP faction that was .... wait for it.... DEFENDING their emperor-ship tooth and nail.

I think the best course of action is to just avoid the farmers like the plague. If the legit players all band together and join the same server we'll have a grand ol' time.

EDIT: A big part of the problem is that excess servers weren't taken down at the server reset. Leaving many low pop servers. Emp traders conspire cross faction to set up shop on these low pop servers, the native legit pvpers get disgusted and leave... and the farming continues. Ultimately this is an issue ZOS has to fix, but their silence on this issue is deafening.

Please, ZOS what is your stance on what is going on??? This is a big deal and is ruining PvP.

@ 00:30:28 -- Me, the GM of the dominate guild on CHRYSMERE telling a farming group to go fak off. IE, I make it clear that if the AD guild begins emp flipping, we will refuse to fight over all but ONE emp keep to keep them a permanent emp and waste their time entirely.

Imagine that. He's angry because he had to stop farming, to go back to his emp/scroll/homekeep buff farm, because of emp farmers. Funny how that happens. Pardon me for having zero sympathy.

Note that he graciously accepted the role of emp and didn't choose to leave before he received it after it being farmed and dropped to him. Though, he earned it, "the hard way" right?

The alliance gains nothing from crowning the same person over and over again. In the past I've chosen NOT to take the last keeps of the Imperial Circle when given the opportunity as there was no need to crown the same person for the third/fourth time. Instead, we went after scrolls.

If you see no value in that, in giving others incentive to capture the Imperial keeps, then that's on you.

I'd rather run scouting reports, no, I'd rather let a buffalo take a diarrhea dump in my ear than to have to hear incessantly from guildies that peps (always the same ones) are in the forums QQing about farming and naming our guild/campaign in attempts to have some other low IQ guild jump on his rhetoric without a shred of evidence to jump in said campaign just to troll and disrupt an otherwise ordinary gameplay for all of the other factions on that server.

At the very least, if they're complaining about their dead campaign or their queue times because its holding up their farms they can't complain about my guild farming something we're not farming any differently than any other server/guild/accuser out there.
