Deadric staves

I notice that all deadric staves worn by npcs have a fire effect on them. The staves themselves are pretty dull no gems or anything just a "wick" for the flame it really seems the the flame effect completes the staff i feel like my deadric staff is broken compared to the npcs......armored dye i hear comes out next month so thats something to look forward to being able to equip npc gear that looks like npc gear not some glorified transformer
