ESO thread on Reddit

This thread was at the top of the ESO subreddit overnight. As you can tell there was a lot of traffic and commenting going on. More than I have seen in any thread there in almost 2 weeks. This thread has been buried by the mods. I could not even find it other than by the bookmark I had created for it.

I thought reddit was not moderated in such a way. Why are they only promoting positive thread for ESO? Thoughts?

Buried reddit thread

No flaming or trolling. I will report you. I am looking for mature discussion about this.

That *is* a positive thread about ESO. It's mocking people who make statements about the game being dead or empty, etc. It probably got buried because it's not a productive post and is largely flamebait.

No its not. I saw your postings and saw that you quickly were downvoted. The responses are not positive.

If it is so positive why bury it?

Why are you presuming it was buried by mods? Reddit gets a lot of traffic; that includes the main ESO Reddit page. A variety of subjects come and go; including ones on player populations, bugs, et al..

BTW, no flaming or trolling. I will report you.
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

As I stated, it was at the top of the reddit page as early as 8am EST this morning. Something as popular does not bump off of the main page simply because new threads are being created unless they are getting the same type of feedback and traffic.

That is just Auridon and Grahtwood. Everyone goes to Grahtwood because that is where we respec. The rest of AD is is empty.

What do my couple downvoted posts have to do with the OP? Absolutely nothing. Also just an FYI my main comment was upvoted sky high. It's the follow up that a few people didn't seem to like. But whatevs. The OP was a positive albeit flamebaiting post.

Try not to skew what the post is about. Yes the OP was baiting people but the response he got was not intended. The thread is definitely not a Pro ESO thread.

Again why bury the thread? Or do you not have a legitimate answer and support the repression of opposite views to yours?

Honest opinion of this Reddit post: troll food. Reddit should NEVER be quoted as a credible source due to the fact that most of it is intended to feed trolls and spread false information.

As for our community's "negative" posts, of course moderators are going to remove them! However, if you read these negative posts (either before they are deleted or via new thread with said negative post with the OP making a big scene) they are NOT productive, off topic, or just plain vats of poisonous venom.

The thing about our human condition, is that we tend to overly focus on the negative--no matter how minute the issue.

My personal suggestion, going forward, is to be the OP of a constructive thread focusing more on your game issues/experience instead of gossip sites like Reddit. Don't be surprised if you get some trolls in this thread....

Sound advice but I have to reference your human condition statement as to why this will not happen, for me or others. We are drawn to wrecks and like to talk about the gory details afterwards.

I have never seen much substance in anything posted on reddit but Zenimax posts there frequently. A topic that is obviously created to troll the users but backfired and subsequently buried is interesting to me simply because I am interested in the health of this game. It says alot about that without saying anything specifically at all.

What in the world does this have to do with the forums on the ESO site?

If you have a question about something that is happening on Reddit, why aren't you addressing the issue with Reddit?

ESO does not own the Reddit site, so posting here does nothing to address the issue on another website forum.

It absolutely has to do with ESO. Zenimax posts on reddit more frequently than they do here. I cannot have this discussion there. It will be buried. Here since it is relative to ESO I am not breaking any rules and I am looking for discussion which I have explained.

So either you are trolling or should have just moved along if you have nothing to offer to this discussion.

All I see here is the OP trying to rabble-rouse folks over here, just being a troublemaker with no good reason other than it seems he has a grudge against the game. So he smears the crap around everywhere.
