Dirt on your body?

So, I have noticed that in ESO like other ElderScrolls Games that over time you can accumulate dirt on your body, your hands etc.

Unfortunately I am at a loss of how to rid myself of this disgusting looking grime on my body and hands, and taking a dip in the river doesn't work like it did in Skyrim.

Anyone know how to clean yourself off again, or am I permanently going to look like a bedraggled filthy beggar even in my finest cloths?

Are you wearing a disguise, because disguises get dirty.

All you have to do is change or remove the disguise.

People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

We definitely need bathhouses in all major towns.

Nothing wrong with getting dirty... especially with a lusty Argonian maid...lol

Haven't you also noticed how grimy the average NPC is?

I'm thinking that an enterprising itinerant peddler with a steam cleaning pressure washer on a pushcart could really 'clean up', so to speak, until settling down and franchising out the options.

This is an ADD-ON that needs to be written into the game code.
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

I'd happily pay a lusty Argonian maid to polish my shaft, of my staff obviously...lol

I fail to see the dirt on my character. are you shure it's not just a product of your graphics?

There are also some cusomization options when creating your character that provide a more "gritty" (a.k.a dirty) look. One in particular made my toon look like he had been drug through the gravel a bit. there are others not as impacting, but give you a "dirty" or "well worn" look.

your toons "age" that you set during creating may have also had an impact on that as well. I've never been a fan of ES "aging" looks, so i usually have mine set on the "as young as possible" setting.

of course, my eyes have had better days, but even looking really close at my toons (close enough to see the granular irregularities on the armor skins) I don't see any dirt.

Just roll an Argonian and name it Sleeps-in-Muck...

    Problem solved.
