Traits Learned Window

rsiloliveiraub17_ESO
When I see someone asking like "wtb sword with precise" and I'm far from a crafting table, I would like to check somewhere if I have that trait learned, w/o having to go to town.

People said Research Assistant Addon can do that, but I'm not able to find how.
Can someone help me with that?

Is there any other addon that does the same function?

Thank you

There are a few. I prefer AI Research Grid: http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info265-AIResearchGrid.html

Be sure to set a hotkey to open the grid window

Thats been one of the more awesome add-ons for me.

Not only because it lets me research traits on mules while my mains are already full.
That way I don't have to crush a weapon I want to research just because my main has another 700 hours of time left, and I don't need to carry that item in inv for the whole while.

The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

AI Research Grid: I can not recomend this addon highly enough it must be the best addon out there if not it is prety damn close.

I run this in conjuntion with
CraftStore that way i can have both open at once and flick between the 2 to compare what traits my Alt has missing and what my Alts can make.

Just make sure you keybind both addons i prefer Num 1 and Num 2.

    I made my own AddOn!

I created it using "paper" and you add research items to it with a "pen".

LOL @SirAndy‌. My "addons" for traits know is very similar, though it involves paper, a pen AND a pencil. It doesn't have color coding on the paper, though, so it appears you have me beat.

I could do this myself. But I am a programmer.
I rather teach a computer to do it for me then doing it. That is advanced lazyness.
Or I ask somebody else to teach it to my computer.

I am smarter then them. They are better at handling math and simple logic. That way we play to each other strenghts.

This has nothing to do with being a programmer.
That's my day-job, been doing it since 1977.
    :D

I find the paper less work (more lazy!) and less intrusive while playing. I might eventually compile that data into a electronic format, but for now, dead tress work just fine for me.

otoh, If I wanted to make do with pen/paper, I could just go all the way and play a tabletop game, or maybe find a decent dungeon-master for a round of olde skool D&D...

What does that have to do with playing ESO?

    Nothing at all.

I play 8 'toons in ESO.

3 dedicated fighters. One is Lvl 38, two are Lvl 27-28.
    These do all the crafts.
My crafting is all in the Lvl 38 to 40 capacity, except for Lvl 23 Ench.
And I keep low lvl mats for crafting low lvl items for other people with low lvl 'toons, ( the most I ever ask for in recompense is for a hard-to-find mat that would be used.)

    3 dedicated mules.
    These do all the storage.
And I spend a lot of time logging in/out to move stuff.

2 'toons that started off as storage, but I play them now in rotation as I have little desire to get much beyond Lvl 45 to 50 in this game.

When I find items for research but my mains are already doing research on all slots - I research it on an alt for transfer back to a main some time in the future when the 500 and 600 hours on an ongoing research slot is open.

And I craft Lvl-1 items for others to use in research when they need something.

When my fighters are out fighting and looting, they're looking for mats.
Mats that are stored on up to 5 other 'toons.
And all my 'toons are 80 inventory with 100 bank.
One item in a slot takes as much room as 100, so my slots are filled to 100.

So if I see some material in the field thats going to break down to wood and grain solvent, or ingots and traits, I grab it.

And when a guild mate puts out a call for some material, I'm the guy that emails it.
So I want to have it on hand.

As I was hinting at in the post you responded to:
If I needed to commit all of the above to pen and paper, I'd just quit and play something else, thats all.

    :)
