How to keep your add-on settings in v1.2 after you have already entered the game

On closer inspection the Variable files have all the settings, it is just stored under a different parameter. New settings under "" and old under "@name". So if you change the parameter before entering the game everything is set the way it should be and I think if you have already logged into the game and try changing your "@name" to "" it ignores your change and gives precedent to the game/add-on created "".

This is for you if you have already logged into the game and started re doing your settings.

Copy your variable file and delete the original, start the game/reload the ui to get it to make a new one, log out. Replace the settings in the file you just created with the @name settings in your original file and then log in.

I have just done this with FTC.

Please cut and paste into redit on verification.

If real life had a block function i would go out more.

Proud to have spent a year paying to BETA test ESO for consoles.
