Thought I would share the build I am having success with and see if anyone feels like contributing some info on their build.
Destruction Staff
-Dark Flare
I really like this ability because of its projectile hang time, depending on where my target is I can sometimes get 3 projectiles in the air before they know they are coming. Also Increases spell/heavy attack damage big time on the next hit.
-Crushing Shock
Only the first hit out of three gains the bonus from Dark Flare, but this move casts fast, activates weapon enchants, and is cheap. Not to mention if you hit someone casting they get to lay down for a few seconds. Also tons of ultimate gains for a single target ability.
-Meteor (Shooting Star)
Love it, I hit 2k crits often enough and it has CC. A couple Dark Flares in the air with a Meteor behind it wrecks days.
-Binding Javelin
Great CC and does decent enough damage especially if you get the extra damage proc from the passive ability. Very expensive though.
-Inner Light
20% spell crit, with Dom Staff/Rings this puts me right around 45%. Crits are good in PVP, more burst, more ultimate gains.
-Heals Honor the Dead/Ritual of Rebirth
If you are in a small group Honor the Dead is great for instant casting yourself back up, if you are in a big battle you have to remember Honor the Dead targets the lowest hp person and does not prioritize the caster. So when I am in a big group I sacrifice my instant heal for one I know will hit me.
I have been having a lot of fun with this build, I didn't think Crushing Shock would work as well as it does but the ability is so fast and has the best single target ultimate gains I have seen. The main thing I have been using this build for is picking people off while taking/defending keeps, with that in mind I also win a ton of 1v1/1v2's.
