The newest patch added a ton of cool stuff, but it's disappointing that nobody seems to be paying attention to the fishing mechanic. Fishing is still basically useless, and for those who actually enjoy it ("There are dozens of us! DOZENS!"), it's frustrating to see not a single update in the new patch.
I'm no game developer, but it seems like a really easy fix. Maybe add some Recipes that use fish? Bump up the selling price to 10 or 20 gold? For Pete's sake, at least have the Fishing Achievements register properly!
Does anyone else notice the lack of support for this mechanic? Surely I'm not the only one going for the Master Angler title!
...Which is currently unobtainable because of all the bugs. -_-

What? Fishing isn't "OP" or in need of a nerf. It's just a fun concept that's broken and useless. It's like buying a car and the radio not working; it's not a crucial part of the car, but a lot of people like listening to the radio and can't understand why the dealership won't provide an easy fix.EvilEmpire wrote: »did they ever fix the issue with looting the rare fish yet?
As of yesterday, no, it's still broken. Furthermore, there's no mention of fishing at all in the patch notes, so I doubt it'll be fixed now.
