    At the very least, it still says:

    "North American Megaserver
    Mondays at 8:00am EDT (12pm GMT)
    Thursdays at 8:00am EDT (12pm GMT)"

    So it should have taken the normal time.....

    I can think of a few possible causes for the delay:

    1. The guy in charge of implementing the patch realized he was out of Red Bull, 7-Up and Cheetos and made a mad dash to the store to get more.
    2. The guy in charge of implementing the patch called in sick.
    3. The gal in charge of implementing the patch went into labor.
    4. Someone misplaced the patch notes.
    5. Someone hid the patch notes, server hamster and thumb drive containing the patch code and forced the entire office to do a scavenger hunt to find them.
    6. Mannimarco caused a planemeld between the Earth and Coldharbour allowing Molag Bal to escape so the entire office is trying to catch him so they can stuff him back into the game.

    Probably a combination of 1 and 5. He hid the patch notes, box of hamsters and the thumb drive while he made a cheeto and redbull run.... speaking of cheetos.... /runs off

    FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
    FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
    FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
    FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.

    Aye, unfortunately true. I remember occasionally seeing the notices, but I don't think they were "the day before".

    "Update 2 is now available on the PTS, and is tentatively scheduled to go live on the main game servers the week of June 23rd."

    WEEK OF doesn't mean ON, and tentatively is far from certain.

    Please learn to read properly before accusing others of fanboism when they do that.

    To be fair she doesn't say the 23rd is for sure. Just that they are aiming for that date.

    Little disappointing... made a fresh pot of coffee hoping to sit down and experience a little more power on my VR8 Templar.

    This team of poorly mismanaged devs, customer service people and even forum moderators is pathetically inept at communicating with their client base. They are by far the worst non-indy crew in the the industry, they make EA look decent which is a really tough task.

    So your complaint is that there is no Downtime and Gigabyte sized patch today?

    The only definite thing is that today was "regular maintenance monday" for US server. And that time has already passed right now anyway.

    You should read the text again:
    @Arsenic_Touch is correct - we're still aiming to get the second content update published on the 23rd.
    There is a few square miles of legal room between "aiming to" and "release date".

    I realise reading comprehension is hard and that the desire to put your own slant on something leads you to mis-state, but the fact remains no one has posted a definite statement it would happen today.

    Regardless of whether 1.2 was supposed to be out today or not, they still have not told us what has happened to the regular maintenance.

    Your claims were "today is maintenance" and "today 2.2.3 is being rolled out".
    I agree that today was regular maintenance monday for NA server. I have no way of knowing if it did or did not go down.
    But I disprooved your point that anybody ever said 2.2.3. will come out today.

    You can get a new proof, but I doubt you find one post that is not clearly telling of the uncertain nature of the information.
    The legal department would give every staff member that makes such a post a wedgie.
