Vampire Armor

I just figured out you can run both 'Vampire's Kiss', which only really needs the 3 set, and 'Song of Lamae' which really needs the 5 set. I can make weapons too, and it's quite possible to run both sets at the same time.

I have yet to experiment, but I expect it to be a quite useful helper for us poor unhealthy blood suckers. ;)

I use these 2 sets on my Nightblade (she is not a vampire though), and they're quite satisfying... then the jewellery slots are filled with the warlock set for extra magicka in a pinch.

Vampire's Kiss only works when you kill something. It doesn't work in the middle of combat when you need it the most. I run Song of Lamae and Ashin Grip. Ashin Grip gives you a chance at a free attack. It only works on melee hits so I stuck it on my weapon. I suppose I could throw it on my shield, but it does't really matter which one I throw it on.

I am running 3 sets, since I am Dual Wield.

Vampires Kiss, Twilight's Embrace, and Night's Silence.

I use one of the more common build using 3 sets.

5 set Night Mother's Gaze (5% spell crit, crits drop the targets armor by 20%)
(on both desto and restore staffs so the I keep the set which switching)
    3 set Willow's Path (5% spell crit)
3 set Vestments of the Warlock (Once per minute, when below 33% Magicka, gain 33% Max, on jewelry only)

Vampires have two major weaknesses, Fire and lack of health regeneration. That is what I am trying to address with Vampire Armor. I don't think there is anything outside of Fire Resist on jewelery that mitigates fire damage. All three of my slots on my level 34 vampire witch add up to 1100 FR.

These 2 armor sets do take care of a lot of the health regeneration problem.

The problem with fire resistance, is once your at the Normal spell resistance cap, extra fire only resistance does nothing so is worthless. The only time fire resistance is used is when your normal spell resist is not at the cap.

So at the cap = 50% resistance, but vampire =base fire damage x1.5

So 1000 fire damage to a normal player at the cap = 500 damage
A vampire at the spell\fire damage cap = 750 damage.

The only reason I was going to keep the 'vampire' tree was for the passive 'Undead' but its not working anyway.

I appreciate your input. I am aiming for a very high Ultimate usage with rapid regeneration. It's coming along.

I'll use these armors through my mid stage. I have one vamp at level 20 and one at level 33. I can see there are better sets and my 2 main crafters are starting to have useful 6 and even 7 trait pieces so I can just make these sets.
