First off, I would like this thread to be positive, so please leave your negative comments, if you don't want to change or see changes in the game, you don't need to tell us, if you have suggestions to changes please share them, Zenimax needs to know what the subscriber wants, else this game will fail in the long run. So LoL if you think the suggestions are ridiculous or thumbs up if you like it. But please lets be constructive.

This is my experience and suggestions of things that I hope Zenimax changes, much if not everything may have been mentioned in another thread, some may not have. Yes I am aware these ideas are in other MMOs, no im not interested in playing them again, I feel some had very good ideas and Zenimax should incorporate best practices and systems that have been developed in other MMO's thanks to years of player inputs and demand, they can do that without breaking the game immersion, lore or the general idea/intention of The Elder Scrolls franchise.

1. Cross faction guilds, i feel as the 3 factions are at war, being able to chat with my enemy is just ridiculous, having a character in one faction, one guild at a time is team building, dedication to your faction and guild.
2. Guild Stores, following the above point, its useless and creates limitations, make faction based auction houses in major cities, create a neutral auction house that is available to maybe guilds that have unlocked the perk, lowering tax as the guild levels.
3. Guild perks, can be a great tool to give members goals as a guild, to unlock exclusive content or perks/features be it a pet, a banner, the neutral auction house etc. It will help create dedication, inclination and desire to see the guild develop, be part of that and make use of the perks that are unlocked.
4. Crafting system, crafting feels rather useless and poorly constructed, at least from early levels, split tailoring and leatherworking, make it worth while to create items and be able to use them right from the game start.
5. Make resources and their values different, now on this I talk under correction but in my experience the refining of materials should yield lower amounts of mats and more poor one for the lower level players and their purposes, it would discourage farming those mats for VR players and also make those items worth buying on a market for lower level players.. The higher the resource level the more the value is and relevant for the level its used at. IMO you would use purple and yellow mats on end game gear due to rarity.
6. Remove the veteran rank grind via playing other faction content, what is with that, its laziness IMO from Zenimax so that they had time to create new content like Craglorn. It kills the point for playing another faction due to having played the content before, makes the game so much shorter, use new content like craglorn as the VR grind rather.
7. Give Vetrans 10 ranks and rebalance the skills, make 300 SP or less maybe the end of SP to collect and have skyshards yield only a gem worth vendoring for 1k or something, it would make thinking of how to use your SP more important and make your class more specific.
8. Change the guild bank system, allow for more ranks, bank tabs with access permissions.
9. Remove weight or the ability to take up an inventory slot in the bags by certain items like pets, fishing bait, quest vanity items and maybe some other its just silly to have these kinds of things take up inventory space when it is so very limited.
10. Introduce guild real estate maybe, where guild members can either farm resources in the world or off PVP or something to start to create guild owned property, that can grow and develop, in a phased area, maybe add npcs that are acquired by completing trials that are permanent like a smith for your keep and a daily or weekly quests for your guild in those areas that need several VR players to do etc.

I will maybe add more points and things I wish to see in the game, some can be done easier than other and sooner but its just my own wishlist. Feel free to add more, ask about my ideas. I think its good to brainstorm and get some ideas out there that can actually be so great for this game, I love the game and only see potential for it and really hope to see some of the things I mentioned and more introduced into it.

Please keep the comments positive, lets give the developer some good ideas.

    Some of the suggestions here are thought out; however they seem to be [esp the guild/crafting points] QUITE similar to other MMOs out there. Having the cross alliance guilds [to me anyway] makes sense. Having Auction houses for your alliance only is extremely limiting. Instead of doing that; how about making two classes of guilds, trade and combat; Combats guilds are alliance only; trade guilds are cross alliance.

    People would want the guilds to have it all in there not trading or fighting exclusive but all in one, the cross alliance guild imo still breaks the dedication one would expect to have for or to your alliance, my way of thinking is if you keep the factions separate you create stronger bonds within those factions like horde and alliance in wow, you never spoke or interacted with those factions, you destroyed one another, which is what we are going for here no? I mean they are at war. Also as I mentioned access to an neutral auction house would be a great incentive if it was a guild perk, then you would have a huge market to play on, albeit at maybe higher tax rates but you can work it down with guild perks as I suggested, but your idea is sound, could work.     Here's my wishlist:

    1. No new content until BUGS are fixed
    2. Fix forward camps so I don't waste 6,800 AP for 5 res's.
    3. Fix postern doors that get bugged when you can't go through them
    4. Fix problems with being unable to CC break out of knockdowns for 3+ seconds
    5. Fix the Cyrodiil Dolmens so they don't spawn level 10 mobs
    6. Haul ass to get those 5 new campaigns launched to stop Emperor Farming

    Bugs Come First.

    HOWEVER,
    I agree with the first 4 options you have listed,
    5 is a little iffy,
    And there isn't much you can do about the cross-faction exploration, although it would have been nice if they limited players to the main questline only so players could reroll and do side content. Not much we can do about it now...

    Something else I would find rather fun is if they would create or let the guild do some quest as a group maybe a VR content trial where you can unlock an area to create or build a guild keep on, introduce resources or maybe just use the current ones that members can farm, take a while to do of course and build the keep over time, then fill it with items, like trophies from doing events like trials.

    Create quests where npcs are involved or after a trial quest an npc could become a vendor and weekly quest giver for guild exclusive content. Maybe introduce a guild market where every guild that has unlocked the perk or quest for a store house in the guild keep could open trade routes between other guild, without having to belong to those guilds, exclusive once again upon guild progress.

    Things like that that could give guild members and the guild in general a goal all round.

    Solo Trials
    Hireable Companions/Mercenary NPC
    Daily/Weekly Quests
    Group v Group PvE (Battle Dungeons) (Blatant plug ;)
    Seasonal / Festive Events
    Individual Bank space for each character
    Smaller scale PvP arenas/zones
    Glass Armor
    New Mounts
    More Bag space
    Tameable Pets
    Gear Swap when Weapon Swapping
    Better weapon enchant effects (more noticeable)
    Additional Character slots
    Ability to send mail to alts

    Think that's everything...lol

    Agree with every point made by the OP. Faction pride is important for giving PvP meaning; creates an underlying core mechanic that pervades and gives sense to the entire game. Compromising this is not healthy for the game imo.

    I would add that XP should be more evenly distributed throughout the game play, so that players have real options for leveling their characters, instead of the current emphasis on quest completion (which many players find a snooze).

    I'd like to see a couple more weapon skill lines for magicka players. The restoration staff is really just healing and it only really properly leaves the destruction staff for everything else. Yes other weapon lines can be used but it seems like more is needed. Maybe magickal punch daggers or a shuriken throwing star typed weapon or a spell orb or something. Something fun. I'm not certain how lore friendly my ideas are but maybe they can be added to the lore.

    1. ZOS could give Multi Specialization (out of combat swap of skills, cp, & attributes) the Outfit system treatment, first one is free, & each additional Specialization at a Crown Store purchase.
    2. PvP specific Monster sets & Weapons (like the weapons gained in pve arena) unlocked through PvP.

    One QOL feature I would love to see related to housing (besides more slots, which sadly is not on the horizon) is having a furnishing crafting bag, and surveys dropping furnishing materials.

    Wishlist:

    1. Auto-hide pets when in close range to other players so it is not deep in everyone's eyeballs every time they are near anyone.

    2. Make it so pets don't block anything - writ chests, crafting stations etc.

    That's it.
