That awkward moment you notice other players

I walked in on three players in a bedroom in a inn. One male character sitting on a bed with his top off, one female character on top of him top off and one character standing around watching them.

I was focused on checking the containers in the room and only noticed it once I had finished. There was a moment of my character looking around at all three of them followed by me bolting for the door, while I lol'd at the screen.

Another player was running in as I was leaving and I saw him post in zone chat what is going on in here.

Post below if you have had a laugh from other players doing strange things in this game.

I liked when quests used to bug and tons of people would do random "stuff".

Yeah the bug wait, for missions to be reloaded and all of the emotes were funny

i was stuck in a rock in cryodiil and did not know how to get out, so i was there for a long time trying to get a GM or ask some one how to get out and unstuck. while i was there tho and bored waiting i saw a DC going by on his horse lol, so i used mark target on him and watched to see his reaction. hahaha he snapped out of horse and went stealth immediate and was obviously spooked not knowing where i was. i repeated the mark target over and over and he kept on searching for me. he never found me but wow he was obviously angry and wanted find me.
i wish he had found me tho cause if he had killed me i would have been unstuck and given passage to a keep or safe place out of stuck in that rock.

by the way, i finaly was told by some one in zone chat to simply go to another campaign and it would reset my character out of stuck and put me in the new campaign as a guest. since /stuck and /death does not work in cryodiil for obvious reasons.

Were they one of those Cat/Lizards couple?

One of my favorite moments was in the second week after the early release I think. I was in Coldharbour doing the Final Assault Quests and had to light the Daedric Fires in the library. I enter the area and it was full of naked players running around jumping to their deaths.It was kind of disconcerting.
One of the braziers was bugged and could be activated only from some point reached by only jumping to your death. Everybody was trying to avoid equipment damage. It took me more than an hour to finally make that jump activation. There was also a guy there that just stayed there the whole time while I was there and explained how to make the jump to new arrivals.Very cool thing to do.

I had someone do that to me in BF4. I was in a tank and he was on foot. To try to convince me to move on he kept laser sighting me to make me think that a plane had locked on to me so I would move on. I kept searching for him but he did a great job hiding in the rubble of buildings I kept blowing up looking for him.

I laughed with him about it I thought it was a good ploy. Hopefully the guy you did it to saw the funny side of it as well, lol.

It was two humans on the bed and a lizard watching from memory.

Nice one, that would be disconcerting. I like that some people in the community do go out of their way to help others. I always go over to help someone if I see them low on health out in the world being attacked by something.

There was also one guy that was doing a very awkward animation behind my Dunmer female char at a Dolmem. . It was one of them most pathetic things I have seen in my life. My poor girl showed the perv though not to mess with her with a couple of swords to the face. It made me understand why some females say they only play male characters.

Lol, sounds like a sword to the face would have been spot on.

I felt a bit awkward the last few times my character has gone through a door. Just as I'm hitting to open it a female character has come through the middle of the door and so my character has leaned out to appear to push her chest instead. Whoops.

I've seen countless of times while friends find the most inappropriate ways to use the emotes, quite succesfully too xD yeah, they're adult men in real life, playing male characters. Apparently also other people in the game share the humor cos of all the laughing in the chat lol

LOL. I saw this too and was wondering what was going on. Until I discovered that you don't have to jump off the cliff to light that fire. There is a point down on the next level to do it.

But yes, I have come in on other players in the bedrooms with a male laying in the bed and female character dancing over top or two male character. I take screenshots and share them with friends later on.

My wife and I ended up on a bed in an inn once. Everytime someone ran in we would go "I wonder how this one will react". Sometimes they just ran out ASAP but we had one /lute us, not for the first time, and my wife got up and got into an epic fist fight with one of them while we sat here laughing.

Saw a naked girl dancing on a desk in a bank. I think she was Dunmer or smth, they have that cool looking dance. The crowd was for once not around the banker but around her, cheering, laughing and clapping hands xD Yeah, and someone was playing a flute.

There is a NPC that is half naken in a bedroom in a bar with a client. A few of us from our guild joined her, playing the lute and using emotes likes \sit \playdead \situps

The comments from players walking in (there is a quest in the room) and then slowly backing out...... It was as much fun as finding M'aiq

Not so much strange as just awkward. When you see off in the distance a resource node and you start heading towards it. Then you see another player and they start heading towards the node as well. The race begins, who will make it to the node first.

If they beat you the walk of shame away from the node is awkward. I didn't really want it, you can have it

I had one guy the other day stand above me waiting while I finished picking some light armour material. I couldn't work out if he was waiting to see if I couldn't pick it up because I had a full inventory, whether he was a bot following a program or whether he was hoping I would leave him a worm. Anyway we continued to head in the same direction and fight for resources until I took a detour to get away from him.

one time in beta I went to a town right before server shut down and dozens of people had their close off and were in a line doing pushups so it would look the a human centipede going around the fountain!

I spent damn near three hours explaining this to people there in that era, until I passed the torch to the next good Samaritan. There definitely was NOT a spot you could do it from back then, before it was finally fixed, as I spent a startling time alone looking for places from which to light the torch before people started waking up and playing and a surprisingly steady stream of people ran through there. The sad thing was some people clearly had chat turned off and it took them way, way longer to get the gist of what others were doing around them, and it really was disconcerting to watch, but funny to watch people spastically running around until they noticed the naked kamikaze leaps and you could see it gradually, gradually dawning on them what was going on.

In The Rift (VR 10 to me) I would sometimes ask in zone chat, "Hey, who's around?" and it'd always be only one of two people and always someone I had previously met.

My favorite laugh after everyone nearby was having an awkward newbie moment not understanding that some quest goal was broken and getting pissed off and playing instruments and dancing as new people arrived and were just flummoxed by the huge group of apparently crazy people all gathered for no discernible reason deep inside some dungeon but what finally got me laughing out loud embarrassingly hard was someone finally started beating on the unresponsive quest trigger with the /hammer emote, and new people would gradually trickle in and see a couple dozen people all on their knees just whaling away with their hammers...

I thought that at first but I seen some people making it. The guy was getting a lot of bs from some players who believed he was trolling.

I was pretty thorough on searching the lower level for an activation spot. I couldn't find any and neither other people.

I had a good laugh this one time. I think it is in the Vile Manse there is a book you can try to read that sends you flying away. I got sent flying away and it shot me into the cage next to the book. I was stuck inside and could not get out. My guild was with me since it was a guild run and we spent quite some time taking screenshots and making jokes. The only way out for me was through death pretty much. Several others also got stuck in the cage and we took some very entertaining screenshots.

lol. A couple people came around but there wasn't a crowd at any point...that woulda just been weirdy.

I used to laugh when I saw heads bouncing in stairs from people falling through and getting stuck.

I was exploring Stonefalls, gathering herbs while at it and whatnot, so, there I was, gathering a water hyacinth - when suddenly I noticed some text on my chat window, moved my eyes towards that small body of water... lo and behold, two naked high elves taking a bath, or well, not only that, judging by the emotes I read later. I darted out of there quickly, screw plants.

Was a little awkward, but I had a good laugh.

Lol, some of the comments that pop up in zone chat are funny. I'm glad the boring trolling and Wildstar/WoW spam that was going around a month or so ago seems to be mainly gone.

I thought the High Elves were too stuck up for that kind of behaviour, sounds more like the cheeky nature loving Wood Elves
