As long as we can make it invisible. I hate cloaks with a passion; they either clip through your character or remain stiff as a board.

There were capes way before superheroes.

I agree with TetsuMaru. Capes, on their own, would look silly, but as part of a cloak...YES!

Cloaks/Capes would need to be done carefully, they would need to match the armour type (Ie you shouldn't have a cloth cloak over leather armour, or leather cloak over cloth armour)(no metal cloaks either).

They would also need to code it into the game, presumably they would fit into the disguise slot, meaning you have to choose between looking good or having a cloak.

Dont get me wrong....I can totally see a cape clasped onto a heavy chest piece. I would like to see both...done correctly.

I would like to see cloaks , not so much capes.

Yes, I can see a cloak attached to Heavy Armour, it could be either cloth or leather, just hoping they don't try to introduce metal cloaks for heavy armour.

Chain mail cloaks would probably just be a chain pattern on a cloth base, and metal fabrics wouldn't work right (in my opinion)

Reinforced "heavy armour" cloaks did exist historically. Typically they would have metal rings or even plates sewn on to them, with enough spacing to allow them to still be flexible. They weren't popular for obvious reasons. They're heavy (which could be said of all metal armour, but they would have felt much heavier because of how poorly the weight is distributed), and they're not all that effective. Probably the only people who would ever use them would be people who didn't want it to be known that they had some form of armour (ie. the metal rings or plates would be sewn in between 2 layers of cloth so that people would hopefully think that the wearer just had a regular cloak), or people without a lot of sense. When you get down to it, they're just flat-out a bad idea.

LoL, first thing I thought of was that clip. I really don't like or want capes but that's just me. Would rather see other adornments/accessories added.

It could also be the definition of "tasty/good looking/mighty" depending on who you ask. Dont tell me you dont see the risc of an outbrake of draculas in cyrodil if capes would be introduced? i mean, its not like there are any vampires there now... or?

I really, really don't have a fear of what other players want to look like.

    I like personal options.
