Should NPC Vendors sell Green recipes?

I can't tell you how overflowed in cooking ingredients I have and no recipes that use them. It's especially weird when you run through Veteran Zones collecting those Faction based ingredients, but the only recipes you find are Veteran Rank recipes not the kind that fit the mats you are mostly getting. Recipes you acquire are also seemingly based on the level of your character, not the level of the zone or your provisioning skill. In my fruitless attempts of going back down to lower level zones with my Veteran char to find more appropriate recipes, I ended up still finding only Veteran Rank recipes in places that should give level 15, 20, 30, 35 recipes...

For my Main, is not the problem who is already max 50 in provisioning. It's for my Alts who have shot over the level of when such recipes drop that I'm unable to obtain them anymore yet the ingredients for them are still appearing, my level 17 alt is only getting level 20 and 25 recipes, I can't for the life of me get any of the level 10 or 15 recipes as I somehow past a threshold to acquire them. This seems like a really stupid mechanic that if you are unlucky not to find any low end recipes that you have to trudge ahead with the really low stuff until you get enough skill ups to reach the recipe ranks you do have.

So should vendors, at least in some limited quantity, sell the green recipes that coincide with their zone level?

    No.

I see recipes for sale all the time in zone chat. If you need the low level recipes, I guarantee you, you will find them if you ask in chat.

You also have the options of rolling an alt just to loot them or temporarily join an active trading guild to buy them.

I don't think so. You can easily buy green recipes from other players, I sold dozens of them and often see them in guild stores.

Player obtained recipes rock for leveling purposes :). The level of the food relates to who can use the result. I choose to swap the recipes to my Alts and I find that an L15 recipe used by an L13 character gets a 10% provisioning XP gain :D. I'm seriously tempted to run the L43 around searching through everything purely for green recipes to hand the lower alts LOL.
Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Wait! Butterflies? Get out of here Sheo, stop bugging me!

Green recipes are so common they have lost all value. I can't even sell them in zone chat anymore. Now I just automatically vendor them to clear my bags.

I would like to see VR changes to either drop faction specific mats, or to also drop faction specific recipes.

I have 150 moon sugar, and no recipe for them, because EP doesn't have the ability to loot non EP faction recipes in the VR zones.

As an alternative, yeah, maybe the wandering merchants could sometimes have 1-3 of the low level, zone specific recipes that are for the alternate factions.

You can buy receipes for peanuts its not hard to get hold of them. My guilds bank is full of the extras people dump.

hell I vendor them now as the return isn't worth the hassle.
