Pelidil's End is far too tedious (VR)

I've just completed the vet version of the Dominion Quest, Pelidil's End and it was a frustrating process with a lot of swearing going on the whole time.

Here's all the annoying crap I had to deal with:

1. So once I was aboard the ship I had to arm a set of balistas several times to take down a giant sea serpent, during this time groups of 3-5 viper pirates kept boarding the vessel while I had to arm a missile, wait for the next turn and repeat while taking down these pirates (who just kept coming back in groups and giving you no time to recover). There are 2 NPCs on your side (a healer and a mage) who are hopelessly outmatched and offer 0 help whatsoever. Also when your stamina is drained from blocking etc, they'll start dealing 800 damage per hit. I may have died 2-3 times here.

2. Killing Pelidil - This became very tedious when the visibility on the ship was dreadful and fight itself had a pirate or two that kept boarding the ship and you have to block their attacks while evading Pelidil's AoE's at the same time (by then my armor was highly degraded from dying multiple times while arming ballistas). The pirates were actually draining my stamina so much that I had to allocate a LOT of magicka to get rid of them. This part took 3 tries.

3. This is the worst part of it all. The reward/gold I received from this quest was absolute garbage and only covered 1/3 of the repairing costs.

I'll probably start grinding/farming materials for gold now cause this whole quest-to-level process takes so much time and effort whilst giving back nothing in return. It's like climbing up the Everest to have someone *** on your face. No thanks.

Incase you don't know, I don't think this is a group quest, but even so, to find a questing partner in vet zone is a joke, I only saw 1 player during the past 5 hours of gameplay.

It is not a solo-only quest so you can definitely find someone to help. Though I agree that the mechanics of that entire event handicaps the player because you almost never drop out of combat and hence have crappy resources after the first couple of pulls.

Before I entered the quest, I asked some guy to team up, because from my AD alt, I know this is a tedious fight.

And guess what, he/she refused to group, so I went in myself, died twice and got it done.

Its doable, but definitely tedious, the space, the AOE, the number of enemy, the visibility, and the sea serpent.

This may be the hardest fight even if you know the mechanism.

(if you don't know the mechanism, to walk on far shore would be insanely hard, sorry for the guys with DC as V10 zone).
