Armor Dyes/Armor Transformation?

With the armor dyes possibly coming in the next big patch or the one after. I was thinking another feature that might be cool is the ability to transform any armor(or weapon) piece into another appearance for a small fee.
I know its not supremely important compared to the many fixes that should come first, but if possible I'd like "Play my way" and "Look my way" =p
