Why is there no search function for guild stores?

Did they rush guild stores in at the last minute when they released this game? Not trying to complain too much but I have seriously never seen such a bad interface in my life.
Without add-ons they are almost unusable. Can't select search categories and can't search for specific items.
Does anyone know of an add on that lets me type the name of an item and search for it specifically in guild stores?

Yeah. Had they not released halfway through development it could have been cool. But alas....
Personally I didn't like the retainer merchant system. It was too chaotic and haphazard. Hard to sell or buy stuff. Its like going to a huge shopping mall without any signboard, shop signs and display case.
The current system in FF14 RR is a big improvement over the 1.0 version imo.

Because its supposedly 'immersive' to look at items one by one. In tamriel personal computers have not been invented yet so yeah you have to look for items one by one as if ur browsing an antiques stall on a sunday market0
