Crashing repeatedly today

I just emailed this to tech support but thought I'd check if anyone else is having major crashing issues today? Was working fine yesterday, but I just logged on and the game crashed 6 times within about 10 minutes. The crash report dialogue box came up when I teleported to a wayshrine, destroyed items to make room in my inventory, and when I repaired my equipment at a store. Am I the only one having this problem?

Try the repair function from the launcher.
sounds like something in the client might have gone borked

Thanks Brabok. Fau from technical service just helped me fix it. The crashes were happening whenever I pressed the E key. So I reassigned the space bar instead of E.

Et voila, no more crashing!

Getting the same, PC is in fact rebooting/hanging black screen, only happens when playing ESO.

if the PC is rebooting that points to a hardware fault.
if its a tower pc / desktop i'd recommend opening it up and checking to make sure there's no dust clogging up anything.
heat can do some really awful things to a PC from bluescreens to freezes and crashes.
might also be a good idea to make sure all your drivers are up to date.
not only the obvious ones like graphic drivers but also the motherboard and chipset drivers.
you should find them on the manufacturers or motherboard manufacturers website, depending if its a pc or laptop.
it would be helpful to see what kind of hardware and software you are running.
you can follow the steps outlined here and attach the report.txt the program spits out, to this post.
chances are the guys form support would ask you for that anyways

Cheers for the reply Brabok, have run the usual tests, was throwing this out there tbh, I do suspect my GPU is at fault, although all reports as normal, its only ESO that is being effected hence the post (its anomalous atm so was hoping for a quick fix and throw the blame at Zeni hahahaha)....

I can leave the PC on for several hours all fine, I can run other games and hit the unit with some load all fine....

Start up ESO and I will reboot or hang at some varying point in time either in game or at load screen...

Far as I can see, all drivers are bang up to date, the unit is about three months old, new build for ESO, I do need to get a SSD in it, its next on my list.

My 750Ti is gainward (golden sample), after 15 years of only using gainward cards (they stick as close to reference design as possible) this would be the very first that has failed me. Everything is clocked as standard, have had no need to OC anything.

Have noticed that the expert software for the card was a release back for current nvidia driver, however without softward still got the same issue, so doubt newer version will help.

    Pledge to update ;O)

Did a bit of a browse for random reboot and found quite a few posts pointing to faulty PSU's.
That would probably be the cheapest thing to replace and check, so it would be the first point i'd try.

    As promised update.....

Updated EXPERTtool, have fully TS the lot now, diskcheck....... GPUtest (stress tested the card upto 55 degs, however ESO will drive it higher).....

Everything can think of, all reports are good....

PSU is a Coolermaster GM-Series 750W, I do have a Dr Power II kicking about, so looks like will need to check the rails, op temp on this reports upto 40 degs, my case is well cooled (air), if it is dropping at lower temps will be a little shocked (pun intended).

However the corsair case I have has the PSU sat in the bottom, my graphics card therefore vents directly at it, I do have two side fans dragging air out, but it is possible that this is causing a thermal trip I suppose.

If all rails report as normal, am going for the cardboard cut out air deflector option/solution

If that fails will start swapping components, I have 550ti can test with if needs be.

I have the same issue with constant crashes..
No matter where I am, no matter the latency or number of people around, it just constantly crashes at least once every 30-60min. I've tried turning off all add ons, tried playing on the lowest settings, but nothing. It didn't always crash, it only started doing so several updates ago and gets worse with every new update.
If I'm lucky, then the window closes and it gives me a "display driver has crashed" message. Most of the time though-everything suddenly freezes, the music gets stuck on a single monotonous note, I can't move my mouse cursor, keyboard shortcuts do nothing, and the only thing I can do is restart my computer every time that happens.
I've tried going to usersettings and changing my graphics driver setting from D3D11 to D3D9. That fixed the crashes, but everything is incredibly choppy and laggy. I often go from full hp to dead just from being killed by enemies that haven't even appeared on my screen yet. Tried OpenGL too, but I couldn't even really test it because my mouse cursor wasn't visible even in windowed view, so I couldn't see where I click. In the end, I prefer the smooth gameplay with occasional crashes(D3D11) over them both. It's incredibly frustrating though, and making things almost unplayable..
