Solo only and I want all content to be solo-friendly
I would say all content should be solo-friendly. That doesn't mean I am against having grouping. In the perfect sense, content should scale. If I enter a dungeon solo, then I should be able to complete the dungeon solo even if very difficult. In fact, I like the challenge.

However, if a group of four wants to enter the dungeon then the content should be as equally challenging.

Smart development means that the two aren't mutually exclusive. I would loved to have seen Craglorn, but alas its not something I will ever get to experience.

Solo only but I'm OK with having some non-solo-friendly content
Yes, it would be nice if dungeons had "flex" technology - it can gear itself for one, or a dozen (or whatever limit it might have to have.) However, WoW just recently introduced this idea with Flex Raids (which can adjust itself for groups of 10-25, on the fly (if someone drops group, the group doesn't have to stop and wait for a replacement, they can keep going). You see this same thing in Diablo 3 public games.

Do any other games use this? Or is it some new technology that not all programmers might know/companies that use it keep tightly under wraps behind NDAs? In other words, would Zenimax employees have to figure out how Blizz does it, all on their own, from scratch?

I don't know how to answer this, I love playing solo but always end up grouped soon as I pop my head into the game.

I'd love to see vet mobs nerfed.

Mostly solo, but I do some grouping
The novelty of being able to play with real people wore off about 10 years ago. If I can get on TS with guild mates I enjoy group content. But pugging is torture to me.

I pretty much only play "solo" , but i will work with others for anchors/world bosses/public open dungeons...

Still , i very rarely will do any closed group content , my char is a vet10 templar and i have done 3 closed groups dungeons during this whole time and mostly because i wanted to try out the first ones , then i just gave up on it entirely and stuck with solo heh.

Like other im ok with craglorn BUT i also want a way to reach vr12 that is for solo players , i for one dont plan to just stick around forever till zen decides to add this , unless they do so soon , i will leave for atleast a few months so they sort their house out.

With that said , i also agree they should not in anyway force people to do solo quests/content on the main path of lvling , solo instances should be for optional stuff like the anchors/world bosses is for groups.

Mostly solo because everytime I get into a group, everyone wants to rush. I like to savour the lore, so most drop from group pretty quickly because I don't move fast enough. IE; Because I don't spam click through conversations etc etc.

Grouping could be a lot more fun. Pvp is good, but pve grouping is just trash right now.

I wonder if youd put an option in for duos how many of the group votes would poof.
I dont mind groups in say, wow, where Im carrying their incompetence and I just need them to soak damage(moonkin healer or elemental shaman healer if I can manage it, go resto if I have to). Here? While its nice to need to coordinate Ive founds pugs to be unable to.

First time? Ask for advice? Ignored. Ask people not to stand in red? Ignored. Its like asking the dippy bird to stip dipping into the glass.

Here, I came to play with a long time friend that I cant get in the right phase with most of the time, and who wong play VR because of the difficulty.

Solo only and I want all content to be solo-friendly
"solo only" But I also duo with another friend like, 75% of the time.

I'd want everything to be solo friendly, even Group dungeons, but not as an all-ends kind of thing. Rather, I'd prefer the dungeon just scales down. So if you enter solo, or with one friend, then the level is scaled to "solo." If you go in as a group of 4, then it is scaled appropriately. This way, EVERYONE wins. And this way, I can enjoy the "4 man" groups by myself, or with a partner-in-crime for a truly immersive experience. Instead of being forced to go with a full group that just wants to rush through all the dialogue/general "PUGS."

And this way, the true 4 man group dungeons remain the same challenge for 4-man groups, because it will scale appropriately.

    Win-win.

I love going solo for quests, moving at my own pace and just generally exploring. But I also enjoy grouping for dolmens, dungeons etc. (and I've met & made some great friends through grouping!)

I'm currently going through the DC veteran levels and loving every bit of them! I'm finding I'm handling mobs and bosses much more efficiently now then ever before and most quests I've completed so far have been done solo.

It does depend what time of day I'm on (I'm in OZ so occasionally I'm on when most others are asleep!) but generally, there are plenty of players around looking to group when I'm in the mood for dungeon crawls!

Most of the solo players actually play with one other. Thats not exactly a group either.

Had I been able to help my friend with his main story quest, he wouldnt have quit.

How do you know most solo players play with one other? Oh that's right, you pulled that out of your ass didn't you!

Don't make claims about others playstyles just to make a point for yourself. It invalidates everything you say.

Playing with another would be considered grouping, since your in a group!

man this forum is getting toxic. Is there any need for this? I've had some very lively debates but I don't resort to personal insults.

I meant to click on the option below.. anyway. It's the only normal design. Obviously, when I log in - I just want to play. I don't want to spend hours looking for group. Even if I find one, there's no guarantee they won't leave after 2 wipes.

Btw, Even in PvP - I want to just pvp. Why should I be punished, that I didn't want to waste my time doing something else(not playing the game), and lose to organized raids?
That's why I don't like that cyrodil is the only pvp in game.
    1) You can do good with organized raid. But then you have no freedom. And have to do what RL tells you to and go to the keep he wants you to go. Which is fine sometimes, but sometimes it sucks, because you see that it would be better to strike elsewhere.
    2) you can join PUG zerg. That's not fun. Would be fun to lead one, but they won't listen mostly.
    3) You want to go solo? There's absolutely no way you can be sure that you will enjoy balanced PvP. You can't do anything if you encounter a zerg. Even if you encounter 1 player - there can always be a few more around that will join and it won't be fair. Even if not - no matter who wins, the one who lost will respawn super far and there's a solid chance that you will never meet again.

A lot of running in order to find something for a couple of minutes... Out of all this time actual solo PvP takes less than 5% ....
