1.1.5 patch notes... a joke?

As a player who recently completed almost everything in PvE (currently sitting abote 8000 achievment points) - I'm doing PvP all the time now. I found it really buggy and I was hoping for fixes in next patch.

All I got is some fixes for Scroll and quest that I already finished before?

Where is fix for bugged camp?
Where is fix for mercs?
Where is fix for people crashing/disconnecting in group?

Just fix these 3 bugs and PvP will be much, much, much better, I'm sure. Is it really hard to increase priority for that bugs and let your programmers spend one or two days to fix it?

Actually patch 1.1.5 changed... nothing in my game.

I'm sorry you're not a beneficiary of every patch in the game? I guess they oughta drop everything they are doing and consult you before they make the immediate changes on the instantly found bugs to pump out those 1-2 day patches.

Screw everyone else who may benefit from the patch :p
You've mistaken me for someone who cares.

Stop the presses!! CoUst isn't happy with pve bug fixes!!! Clearly the fixes are as easy as you seem to think they are. Hey, zenimax is hiring. Why dont you give them your resume, which must be extensive judging by your expertise in this thread, that way these easy fixes can be fixed quicker.

In fairness to the OP, while I do agree with the other posts, this game should never have been released with the amount of bugs it had. People warned them in beta, from what I read, people in PTS warned then numerous times.

Sure, depending on what you want from this game, you may find the current amount of bugs to be of minimal inconvenience, but many people are simply venting their sheer frustration of another patch and their problems still not being addressed, which I do have some sympathy for.

1.1.5 was just one of their weekly "maintenance" patches. 1.2.X will be the next substantial patch.

Which, according to the current PTS notes, has zero pvp fixes from what I can see.

If it would be so easy to fix then surely they would have done so already, don't you think? It's not as if they are withholding fixes just to irritate players intentionally.

As another guy said, they are hiring. With your awesomeness, you can fix the issues we're having and make the player base a bit more happy.

Issues like this rarely have spot on solutions. It could be a problem caused by another feature that shouldn't have anything to do with each other.

I am amazied how many here who say they played MMO, could not have been at any of these MMO launches.

Instead of my normal big posts. ESO been a decent launch. Been worse (Wow, EQ), been better (SWTOR)

The important part is still what the game is and how its managed/developed.

Of course there are a lot to fix. But that's normal. I do not care if anyone believes me or not. This is not my opinion, its a fact in MMO history.

Anyone who been through ANY of the bigger MMOs who lasted longer then 1 year, have experienced very simular to this.

I say again, NO other MOO, gives this much DETAILED info about coming patches. NONE.

You know why? Because they care AND they understand that good ideas can come from a single player. That said, does NOT mean if you yell enough, you get a feature that will not be in the game.

But we do still have a few haters going strong, it seems =)

Small bug patch won't fix major issues. Not in this game, nor in any other decent MMO.

Firstly, I'm not here to work, I'm here to play the game. I'm not angry or anything; actually I had a lot of fun doing PvE. I'm just curious where are the fixes?

Well, It's good that they are improving their game and fixing bugs. I'm not saying that they must consult me but something is really very wrong if, for example, they want to suddenly change achievement names and they make new bug with that achievement which could be fixed by simple thing: change string in client for achievement name. No server-side changes and I think all progammers can agree that it's the safest and best way to change name.

There is no info about date when we can expect fixes. And I'm almost sure fixes will come from nowhere, they will just announce one day before patch what they did.

Of course there are more bugs, for example missing NPCs, quest-blockers, bugged achievement in Veteran Banished Cells, bugged achievements in quest tab (or it was in exploration, don't remember) and other things that they should fix.

My thread is only about PvP but because I'm playing PvP now 10h/day, it would be really nice if they can fix all problems.

At the end I just want to ask one thing. Why camp is bugging? It's just really strange... -_- Camp should be untouched until these criteria are met:
    a) 20 people used camp
    OR
    b) camp HP <= 0

So why this suddenly stop working? It's a huge riddle.

Is it so unacceptable to think people might expect better than other games, some of which have been released close to 10 years ago?

Since this is 'history' should every game launch with bugs? It makes no sense. It is not 'normal' to say this is ok because others were like this. Progress - make it happen.

If people gladly accepted the situation because it is 'normal' and never improved, I wonder where would we be now...

you said it man I'm not here to work just play 10h/day. Maybe that's half your guys problems no work all you do is sit around playing this game a complaining about every GD little thing if you think you can do better then get your head out your *** get a F'in job with one of these game developers and put your money where your mouth is instead of your foot in your mouth every time I turn around and read a new thread on here its some one els bashing this and bashing this GET OFF THIER BACKS and give them time to work things out. yeah maybe they rushed this game a bit too much and yeah they prob should have pushed it back another 6months like they did the consoles but how many more people would have been pissed off at that?? At least we have some thing to play even if its a paid beta and theres nothing wrong with that look at EvE online that was a paid beta and look where its at now. nothing great became that way over night only reason WoW took off like it did was because all the $$$ they dumped in to advertising. Don't get me started on EQ even though that's my all time favorite mmo it had so many bugs and problems it wasn't funny how many people remember the boat bugs glitches and problems yeah I said it the NUMBER one mode of transportation in the game was bugged broken and caused many many people to get stuck, die even unable to log in because their chars were stuck in limbo and lets not forget the repercussions of death in eq now add the fact that the boat killed you out in the middle of the ocean and your corpse sunk to the bottom of the ocean back before corpse summon was in the game

Wow, that was hard to read.

    1. I can do whatever I want. Don't teach me what I should do. If I want to play the game 10 hours or 15 hours/day, I can do it.
    2. I'm not QQing, blaming them or saying they are bad and lazy. I'm just asking where are the fixes... It would be nice to know approximate date.
    3. Other MMO don't interest me. I'm playing Elder Scrolls Online, not FirstMMO, SpaceShipsOnline, NeverGuest or something else. I never played these games and I rarely go and play MMORPG. So I don't jump from one game to other, I stick with one, play it all the time and enjoy it.

Seriously, what is your problem? I just mentioned some bugs.

I played EQ and WoW at launch and I would take them over ESO any day of the week.

And literally every other MMO I have played in the past 5 years has had better dev communication and community interaction. ESO has more stealth nerfs and missing patch notes than any game I can remember.

Seems to be about on par with the GW2 launch. I don't know what it is about passives that make them so hard, but both games had a whole army of them broken at launch and for quite some time after.

Of course they are fixing bugs but it's like "Oh, we will fix it soon" and one day they will update servers and say "Oh, we updated ESO and fixed: blabla, bleble". We want to know more details. Not only me but other players too, among others, @Atropos, who wanted to get more details about patch notes. All we get is some cheap text like "We slightly increased/decreased..."

Telling approximate date of fixes is a good way to start. Long list of known issues and its priority would be nice too!

Its hard to believe theres people actually biting back at the OP. Hes absolutely right.

Why are we seeing week after week bug fixes on quests that CAN actually be completed and only might break due to some infrequent occurance.

Instead, why arent they fixing wide spread issues that affect everyone. The forward camp is a beautiful example and theres been many threads on it. Just search 'forward camp bug' in the search box and see a bunch of threads that have never been acknowledged by devs. This is a game changer, been reported since the first week of live release, and were no farther today than we were then.

But dont worry, that quest you already completed last month is now fixed for the 1/1000 person that may have had an issue with it, could have just canceled it and restarted it like many people did anyway.

Theres other bigger issues in PvE as well. Group challenge acheivements in dungeons that do not provide a skill point. Is it really hard to fix this? Months go by, and were still...fixing...one-off quests.

This just shows the planning/prioritizing at ZOS is way off. People flaming the OP and not supporting this thread are absolutely misguided fanboys. I want to love this game, but its tough to when week after week we get absolutely no changes to the core part of the game. Then after a months time, we get skill changes, which typically results in them breaking a skill and not being looked at until god knows how long.

It was a small incremental bug fix patch. If they could fix every bug in a single incremental patch we wouldn't have so many incremental patches.

Tho I feel where you are coming, some of these bugs that have been around for a long time are still there, even before they broke more things with 1.2.1, and it would be nice if ONE of these added some of the things they didn't really implemented in 1.2.1 (like stacking siege weapons).

Ok you come up with the coding style the yields no bugs at all, and that can't cause bugs when changing code.

This is not a problem with game, this is the development cycle for programming code. It's not a matter of progress its a matter of the fact there IS no other way to do this, code will have bugs and changing code will create bugs. Saying this needs to change is like saying fire needs to not burn things. It's like saying we should be able to run PS4 discs on an xbox. It's physically impossible.

As for this game, yes you should have expected some bugs, and if they were warned that the game was not ready by players, doesn't mean they will not try to launch. If they have a mostly functional game, that will work on the market, the Publisher, not the developer, will make the call to release, so they can get their ROI, or so they can generate more budget to get those fixes rolling. This is a complicated business that takes years to even produce a product, this company has been working on the Publishers budget for the past 7 years with no income what so ever to show until it launched, it was time to launch or go broke
