Horses for the Homeless

Lately I keep getting begged for gold in Cyrodill to help them buy a horse, now I understand the reason why horses are priced like they are and I myself have plenty of horses to speak of. However im not dumping my virtual gold on people I dont know. I do agree with their plight and I was hoping Zenimax may consider a PvP horse (not feedable) that they can pick up and use in Cyrodil at the cost of gold or alliance points until they can afford a mount of their own. The moung would only be usable in PvP zones and would disappear after 21 hours, so you need go get another. 250g or 500 alliance points sounds right to me. This would probably please them and not upset anyone who is feeding their horse to get around faster.

Cant stand videogame beggars, they dont even have the excuse of a harsh life... make them walk maybe they can kill a mob from time to time and save a few pennies.

PvP horse is fine soldiers are not beggars!

I don't know NOT having the horse does a few things.

    A. Gives them the incentive to go out and buy a horse. Either with in game gold or the cash shop.

    B. Gives them an incentive to use forward camps as running back SUCKS.

I pvped for a LONG time without a horse. Its annoying but doable, they will get over it. I did.

Anyone who isn't high enough level to be able to farm 17.7K for a horse shouldn't be in PvP: You are not gonna last long.

After a lengthy discussion with my guild we just think they should bring back horses that were buyable with Alliance Points, they were like 100k AP and was the Gaited Horse. So either they PvP alot or they farm gold for gold, their choice. not sure why Zenimax removed AP buyable mounts before launch.

Its rough for a level 10 in Cyrodiil..cant really expect a level ten to be able to buy a real horse so.. "I endorse AP ponies...rainbow tails and horn with pretty braided manes." Buy yours today! (allow 6-8 weeks delivery while supplies last)

Behold the Alliance Point purchaseable steed.

And yes, I would totally ride one into glorious combat

That's a nice sentiment. But do we really want to be nice in pvp...?

/playdead is the only command I use when someone is near me and begs for gold (no matter the zone)

BTW I have seen some level 20 players kick VET players butts, because not all level 10+ players are NEWBS. Now you might say then they should have gold to burn, that may be true unless they have invested in putting epic gear every two levels on their new alt to keep competitive. Many more things need to be buyable with AP. I mean you can buy glyphs, siege weapons, insanely priced convenant pieces etc. but somehow your Alliance doesn't see a reason for a seasons veteran at level 30 with 500k Alliance points to buy a horse with those points FU soldier go earn some gold outside the war if you want a horse.

If you want to be active as a lowbie in Cyrodiil, you certainly need a horse, and you are probably going to need enough gold to buy a stack of grand soul gems (about 7k).

As stated above people won't buy them from the cash store which means less monnies for ZOS
