ESO controller support with XPadder

Hello folks, just wondering if anyone is looking for some info on playing ESO with a controller, and if you need any info on getting it to work! I recently put together a nice profile using the Razer Sabertooth using XPadder that is working amazingly well for me ingame.

I was also wondering if anyone knows any other programs that might work even better then xpadder?

Pinnacle is always popular. It's rather robust, with a small learning curve. It's not free though.

I've got an xpadder profile too for a regular 360 controller if someone wants to give that a try.

Xpadder seems to be the best out there.Still, most gamepad configs consist of three button layouts you toggle through with one of the controller buttons. It's not efficient. If I were you, I'd wait for console release. It will be interesting to see how they map a controller. If we're lucky, we might actually get pc controller support around that time...

I am not familiar with Xpadder. Would it allow me to use my PS4 controller with ESO?

Yes, as long as it uses usb, but it is $10 if you acquire it legally.

With a wireless controller that doesn't use usb, you'll have a harder time, but you can still make it work with bluetooth.

Been playing with Xbox 360 controller and using XPadder. Works perfectly. There is a thread someone posted on the forums somewhere that had a fantastic Xpadder profile already created.

Heres a question, thanks for posting layouts btw! (I have a layout ive been using and absolutely love it) Ive been getting a glitch recently with the controller that only seems to happen in cyrodiil. (likely because of the rapid button spam) Sometimes my keys seem to get locked out, and the only thing that works is movement. None of the key binds work, not even roll/dogde, no abilities. However, the menu/map work, and it seems like opening the menu and closing it quickly will often but no always fix the problem. Has anyone else had a problem like this? Its frustrating cuz im trying to record some fights for a pvp video im making with the controller/me in a cast playing as a templar..

For Playstation controller with bluetooth you can use motioninjoy.com/

Works pretty well. I use it with PS3 contoller but I guess it works for PS4 too.

I have played all the way to V7 using pinnacle and Logitech 301 controller for combat, using the keyboard and trackball for admin task like crafting.

I changed the link to esoui, so hopefully the site will be trusted now, but you will also have to get Xpadder separately.

Thanks. I think Chrome was just overly cautious about that other hosting site in general.

Yea, I opened chrome and saw the same thing. It's better that I put it on esoui since people trust that site.
