Provisioning

So I like that I can make food with Provisioning that boosts my stats so much but was disappointed to find when I moved on to the VR6 area all the mats where lvl1 mats. I would love to see this craft with some VR6 to 12 crafted stuff or at least drop the VR5 mats in all the VR5+ zones.

Provisioning is unique, the only craft skill hidden behind a paywall.

You have to pay NPC's a LOT of gold for Imperial Stock and other items of that tier level, only way to get them is to pay an NPC.

Imagine if Trait Stones came ONLY from paying an NPC 2k each?

That's something in games like Tera or FFXIV, TESO thankfully doesn't do any of that.

I take it then you can't go back to the higher level area's you've already discovered and gather the higher end ingredients for recipes you already know then.

Damn, that's going to be a pain.

no, why would you think that? You can find VR5 level mats in the highest level of any area and in Coldharbour. But you can never find Pinguis, Imperial Stock, Imperial Flour, or the drink equivalents. ESO in its ultimate "wisdom" decided that those should be vendor only, for 61 gold each IIRC

You can go to your factions V5 area and Coldharbour and Cyrodil, yes.

But you won't find specific high tier ingredients like Imperial Stock. You will get Honeycombs and Jazbay Grapes (drink) and other goodies but if you want to make like, the "high end" food/drink you have to pay an NPC some 60-70 gold per ingredient.

Oh, right, thanks for clearing that up.

That's stupid, we collect ingredients for free, then they decide we can only buy the last tier of ingredients, oh well (sigh).
