Suggestions on Getting Started?

✭✭Play a sorcerer. If you don't like casters, you may want to move on to another game.
I like my sorceror, but that's terrible advice.
My Templar is fun too, but for different reasons, I wouldn't right of templars because of a dislike for Sorcs. Ditto for my DragonKnight.
Better Advice would be to try one of each class and decide from playing which one to go for.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!
