Solo Vet Ranks

First off this is not a "omg make is easier for me to level" or "Why do I have to group with other people /rage" thread. I simply tend to play MMO's on a solo basis. That being said if something comes up that requires a group I will gladly que up for pugs or LFG in /zone or w/e it takes. Right now my last quest on my main is the final one "God of Schemes". I'm told after this quest the other factions storylines can be played. So my question is how far can I get Veteran Rank wise if I play thru say Aldmeri Dominion then Daggerfall Covenant on my Ebonheart toon? I understand PvP, Vet Dungones are the way to go. But I would like to get achievs/shards in the other factions and just wondering how far I would get Vet Rank wise. Thanks

Then the vet levels are perfect for you. I don't know who told you that vet dungeons and pvp are the way to go. If you want the achievs and shards and such, quest on brotha!! Clearing each vet zone will get you a vet level. If you add to that some pvp you will easily make it to vet 10 when you are finishing up your last zone. This is how I'm doing it on both my vet toons and I'm enjoying it. The only things I've NEEDED to group up for are vet dungeons and most world bosses and all dolmens. The pub dungeons that are made for groups I just group up for because it's more fun to me. Only one of my 2 toons would have a chance soloing them, but even then would have died a bunch. One is a templar healer the other is a nb bow/dw. v8/v4 respectively. The learning curve is higher in vet areas and require some thought as it pertains to your load out of spells and such. I've enjoyed that part.

Clearing all contents in the zones alone will get you to VR9/10. With your gotta catch 'em all attitude, you'll be VR10 with clearing content alone. No worries.

You can solo all the Vet zones and you will get to vet 10 if you do everything in each zone.
