Are BOTS Still a Major Problem?

I know the devs have claimed that they have done a massive push to do life time blocks on people who are accused of being BOTS. And I am a little curious if people are still seeing a large number of players still using BOT exploits in game.

The reason that I ask this rather simple question is that in the last week, I can't claim to have seen a single BOT in game. And I can actually go into a zone and harvest resources and come out with more than a pocket full of wood, cloth, or metal resources.

In the past, I have seen so many BOTS running active that the landscape would be completely void of resources. The only thing you could find were plant nodes that still had "worms" and only worms or crawlers left. Here lately, I can even go to a starter zone and the map is still full of resources.

So I have to ask my fellow players. Are you still seeing what you would consider a bad BOT exploitation in game? And if so, what faction and zones?

Haven't been in public dungeons in the non-vet zones for quite some time, but in open areas in non-vet zones I've noticed the bots don't seem to be around.

I still see them occasionally here and there but nothing like what it used to be. I believe most of them just moved on to Wildstar as their forums are looking like ours used to.

There's nobody left to buy their gold so they quit.

I've been to both AD and EP starting areas with alts. Where they used to be infested with bots... now... I have not seen A SINGLE one... and I've noticed a plethora of nodes to harvest... I was amazed... also felt weird because I was just so used to seeing bot infestations... lolol

I can't get into Wildstar. If it is the game I am thinking of, the game world looks to much like WoW's "cartoony" world.

Looking at the video feeds from the game, I have expect to see characters jump out of the background from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".

Same, I can't bring myself to play it. I have friends trying to talk me into it but it just isn't my thing. I was looking over the forums recently just to see the player feedback which is where I'm seeing the gold seller and bot complaints.
