Character Appearance/Customization Suggestion.

Hi all, me again with more suggestions lol
This time my suggestions are about character appearance and customization.
One thing Ive never understood about MMORPG's is the "final" nature of character appearance. As in, you choose a hair style and you have it permanently. Or you have to pay in or out of the game to change your appearance. Fair enough, if your gonna change things like your weight, height, the shape of your face, then make it a paid service. Or even dont give the option at all. But we should be able to change our appearance in game, such as hair style, makeup/warpaint styles... I mean, thats one of the core things about an RPG if you ask me. I love being able to play with my look and change it how I see fit. To have the option to change the things that would be changeable in real life when I fancy changing my look up a bit.
To that end, what I'd love to see in game on the items/equpped items tab is an "appearance" button that toggles the left panel from an equipped item interface to a styling interface, which lists all the different hair styles/makeup styles/war paints you have, allowing you to be able to change them up on the go. You could even add some new unique ones that are collectibles, that can only be discovered in the game world or rewarded from certain quests or achievements.
you could even add an animation for each style change that takes a few seconds to play out to add to the immersion aspect of the game. Like your character actually altering their hair or applying warpaint/makeup.
For example... You hit the "I" button and it brings up your inventory. On the left panel that shows your equipped items, theres a "Style" button. You press it, and the equipped item interface changes to a rendering of your character how they currently look, with a drop down menu/slider above the head for hairstyles, one next to the face for makeup/warpaint styles, and one next to the body for body markings. Then you select and preview them on the rendered figure until your satisfied with the changes, and hit an "Alter Appearance" button to apply the changes, which start the appropriate animations. You could even add the option to save combinations.
I just thought it seemed like a cool idea and that it would be awesome if we had some freedom in changing our appearance, instead of being stuck for the rest of our gameplay with the same hairstyle, same makeup/war paint style, and the same body markings.
