I'm a NB. I fight close up and personal. My screen is full of my opponent. So how can I miss when I'm almost standing on top of him? Since the last patch I find myself swinging through my opponent without doing damage. Animation plays but no sound effect and n damage. Kind of makes me wonder if someone didn't try to adjust something to counter the ability delay complaints but now its actually triggering before the game engine can calculate the damage. Whatever it is it needs fixed.

Have this happen all the time. Npc ends ups actually through you and you can't target it to do damage. Have to keep backing up. Even worse for DK and Templer with chain pulls and charge. Doesn't stop the npc directly in front of you so you can attack, then you are dancing in circles trying to get to it......lol

Maybe he thought it means ball shaped, as in grow a pair.

I think it's one of the 'features' of this game that you fight the control system as much as the monsters.

If you'd stuck to 'Wahoonie-shaped', all the Pratchett people would have know what you meant right off.
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

Also pier. Maybe his targeting went pier-shaped.

Seems like a new one, I had a lot of this over the last couple of days so I assume it's another way to punish people who want to use stamina and weapons?

Ive often thought it was lag or something. Ive had it going on forever, usually on my restro staff. I can be standing right on top of a mob looking at it and my shot will take a direct left out of my staff and hit something standing off to the left. There are times too when i can have 2 mobs standing in a line and it will curve around the first to hit the second.

Actually it was spelling, not grammar I was pointing out. And he did use the idiom correctly. For a non-native English speaker he's doing well.

I've had this targeting problem with melee strikes since the beginning of the game. I usually have to correct and mess with angles a few times when it happens, so that my character can properly strike again.

I find that if I eat a food / drink item, then draw my bow and fire quickly enough... all of my arrows appear to be bowls of soup, and occasionally chicken wings.

I rather like it this way, although I would like to know how you manage to fire pears at your targets. My bowstring and nock are getting somewhat greasy.
