Alts, quests and items... What's inside?
So I love eso, bugs and all and balancing will come with time. But the one thing I don't like is the fact that this game in entirely un-alt-friendly. I love playing my Templar and healing. Though Templars are in need of an entire healing line overhaul and magicka regen support. But that's a different topic.
I don't mind in the slightest that this game takes time to get to max level. That's without mindlessly grinding exp at said spot for the week. Just normal questing and exploring it takes a decent amount of time. And on top of that, we can go through every factions quests on just one toon. Which also isn't a problem by itself. The problem comes from those veteran ranks taking so long to level.
Now if I've leveled one toon to vr12 and done all the content in every faction.. What's left to see? We have no class/race unique quests or epic quests to get said armor or weapons. I personally don't have the time or patience to take another few months to casually level another toon to vr12.
My suggestions...
- unique class specific and race specific quest lines
- Unique armor and weapon quest lines to give legendary items at the end of said quest(like EQ and eq2 for example)
- A way to maybe have another gold sink, in the form of buying level tomes. "X" gold for a tome that gives you 1 level. Costing more for tomes that grant you more levels.
I'd be intersted in what others think.
