Solo (and Duo) Content for Veteran Levels?

I am hoping that the company plans to add some additional content for veteran players that allows solo and duo players to progress. Right now the veteran content in zones gets increasingly difficult and in order to progress to the next rank you are pretty much required to group or wait for others to show up for things like skulls, anchors, dungeons and some quest bosses.

The company added Craglorn and they are adding some veteran dungeon content from what I have read. However I have seen no indication of any solo/ duo content coming anytime soon. Will there be some solo content in the near future?

It's all solo content except for the group events like world bosses and anchors (which can also be soloed if you feel the need to go that route), which form the minority of content. I'm not sure what you want exactly. Do you want to be able to solo the group dungeons?

The closest thing to endgame content for solo/duo players are the daily quests in Cyrodiil. I suppose the delves in the PVE zones could qualify if you don't mind next to no XP and gold after the first kill, no matter how long ago it was.

This game desperately needs some sort of endgame content for solo/duo players but ZOS does nothing but crank out new group content. Why are we getting a new Veteran group dungeon in the next update given how the previous content update was an entire zone filled with nothing but group content and group dungeons?

I'd be interested in them retrofitting the dungeons for duos as an option. That could provide a lot of enjoyment, especially since I can only ever find 1 person at a time that wants to do the vet dungeons :/

My understanding is that the intention for the veteran zones is that each region is geared toward one veteran rank. So you need to gain a rank in each zone to be able to handle the next region. Currently that is not possible without doing all of the dungeons, anchors and skulls which are pretty much group content.

Also the content ends at V10 which means there are 2 ranks for which there are currently no solo/ duo veteran content since Craglorn is meant for groups. It would be nice to be able to reach the highest ranks at some point without having to waste time waiting around for others which is becoming increasingly hard to do as I rank up the veteran levels.

I agree. It does seem like an oversight that the company has made their first and second major content releases focused on group players which I suspect are the minority of players. Sure these folks probably got up to the highest levels quickly but are they really the majority of the player base?

Hopefully ZOS will add some additional solo/ duo content soon and consider making duo versions of some dungeons. I don't mind getting less experience and loot for a duo versus a group but it would be nice to at least have some options as a mostly solo/ duo player.

I am mainly a solo player, but I do think the decision to make the first two content patches mainly for groups a good one. The reason is that at release there is far more solo content than there is content for groups. They do need to balance that out a bit before focusing equally between solo and group content.

I agree with this fully, I hope that after the first few content updates the balance is about right and the focus will be equally split between solo and group content. As I said I am mainly a solo player so I would really see things like that happening. Currently the main solo content is the leveling up, but nothing at endgame in pve, I hope to see that changed for sure.

They should make the zone scalable instead of making it for solo or group.

They should present players who are entering Craglorn with a selection screen

    1. easy (solo)
    2. adept (solo or due)
    3. hard (group)

higher difficulty give better, more frequent reward.

blocking the whole zone is not the right solution, especially when the grouping mechanism is bad, VR zone is so empty, how do they expect people to reliably find 4 players group? not to mention 12.

Its like they design the whole zone, ask everybody to download 5 Gb of game, and only 100 people will be able to fully enjoy in the whole world.
