Would not invite a friend to play this game.

I love you guys. Love this franchise. Long time fan. I've played my character to VR12 and the biggest issue I have is the restriction on friends grouping for dungeons and content. The phasing aspect has killed the joy for me. I would not invite any of my friends who were on the fence about this game to play now. I would not be able to group with them for some of the more fun content in dungeons and quests. You've put a major barrier to people with diff times to play who solo content but want to hook up at set times to just hang out and quest. I can't help a guildie who is struggling with some boss because I've done the quest already. So he/she is stuck frustrated or just leaves the game. Really sucks.

No suggestions on how to fix it since I'm not a game developer. I would think keeping people from grouping up for content would be a bad idea. I'm sad sad sad because I love the franchise and I bragged on you guys to many many of my guildies. Several that came with me have left because of this and the word is out about the phasing issue so I don't see anyone else coming to try.

Now im just finding grind groups and skipping content.. Auridon is a ghost town for Vets. sad...

I have a lot of fun grouping with my friend. We just keep dedicated characters for that purpose that remain sync'd.

This is why we need many more character slots. You have your solo characters, and you need a dedicated character for each friend you want to pair with to take on the game.

Which is a workaround for a failure in overall game design. Nothing more.

I'm kind of torn on this issue. I miss being able to group with friends that are not on the exact same quest instance as me. That being said, however, the ability to change the world through instances within the world is, for me, a big selling point. I would hope that there would be a way to balance the two.

This issue comes up a lot between me and my friends who play.

I like the way the environment changes as my quests progress, cool I get it, I made a difference. But a week later when my friend runs into the area and needs help I can't go help him...Yes he can "Need help PST" in zone but c'mon we all (my 5 IRL friends) want to play together when we can but it just doesn't happen with all the hellish instancing/phasing whatever you call it.

I understand in some cases to keep the main story on track...you don't want a group of vets running in to play captain save hoe on a lvl 48 who is fighting Molag...but who cares, let em.

Open the doors up a little...it's a huge stuffy soloplay adventure in an MMO setting. Now don't get me wrong I solo a lot...and love it but I also enjoy helping and rolling with my friends but with the current system that is not possible 1/2 the time.

Because my friends would see the game for exactly what it is, boring. Terrible and lazy design , making ppl do all the alliance storys which are rehash and bland affair.
Endgame is a joke and not worth ya time.
Besides there all rdy heading for Archage.

This is exactly what my brother and I do, although I really hope that they improve the grouping for everyone as we would love to be able to play other alts too and not worry about being unable to quest together.
