Itemization – we’ll add gear that’s harder to acquire but more worthwhile. We're looking at gear that will make others envious when you’re wearing or wielding it—both in appearance and in stat boosts. To do this, we’ll adjust soft caps so that they don't kick in quite as quickly. We have to be very careful about how much we adjust numbers, because the greater the variance, the more people can hurt their intended builds.

This really makes me happy seeing that unique items will be brought back from the PTS beta. For those that don't know, originally in the beta there was artifacts that could be acquire from VR dungeons that had double enchantments on them with unique appearance.

Some example were Trueflame, Hopesfire, Volendrung, Auriel's Shield, and etc.
Unfortunately they were taken out right before release for unknown reasons and were replace by generic daedric weapons such as Flamedancer aka Hopesfire once and others as well.

So I would like to hear others opinion about artifacts coming back into the game!

LOL - Well it would be NICE to see some real set bonus gear as well. The crap we can craft with 8 traits learned seems to be pretty *meh* mostly.

But what double enchantments? What did they look like too? So curious.

I know that "Trueflame" looks like this; FfNYCD6.jpg

    Sigh.. another Necro thread.

They were not talking about double enchantments because they were not in game in June.
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

Too much salt is bad for your blood pressure.

The above linked item which has been around since VR dungeons, I could see how that could be considered a "double enchantment", as what the original post says -
"Some example were Trueflame, Hopesfire, Volendrung, Auriel's Shield, and etc.
Unfortunately they were taken out right before release for unknown reasons and were replace by generic daedric weapons such as Flamedancer aka Hopesfire once and others as well."

As It clearly says they were removed from the game and "replaced by generic daedric weapons..." I'm not even sorry that this "necro" bothers you to sigh, I'm sorry that you find the need to be salty and reinforce negativity instead of being constructive and providing the community here with an image of some unique stuff(s) the original poster elaborated on. Details on any double enchantments which were removed would be cool too if you can provide, I'd appreciate said info.
