Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild...

When are these going to be introduced? I don't care for playing Fighters/Mages Guilds, never have. I prefer playing in the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guilds, due to the darker side and the characters are more interesting as well.

Given there are skills which will be also made available via these guilds, it would be good to have these around soon. I play an NB and a backstab, slit-throat, sneak skill is what I've been waiting for, keeping skill points open and having to respec later is going to be costly. Oddly, Ambush and Surprise Attack haven't really done it for me so far....

I always loved DB more then the other guilds usually their quests are much funnier and had nice mechanics with those bonus if you did in X way.

Still , what i want the most from the DB quests is shadowmere , i miss my usual horse.

I haven't heard a peep about Thieves guild or Dark Brotherhood, outside of initial rumors.

The Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood were two of the most enjoyable questing aspects of Skyrim.

I too wish they would have made it part of ESO.

They will arrive at some point, but implementing the crime system is going to be a challenge, and even when it is introduced, its probably going to require some tweaks afterward.
But they have to tweak what they already have implemented before they even think of implementing those. Classes, bug fixes etc. Best not have them rush on this.

But rest assured, given the popularity of those two guilds, I'm positive that ample attention will be given to their development and what we will eventually be given will be a pleasant experience.

It's definitely coming. Pretty sure ZOS has outright stated it before. Just a matter of when they get around to it. But as the gentleman above me stated, they really need to be fixing what they have before they add anything new.

I used to look forward to it, but now I'm just hoping it doesn't come with a bug and a nerf.
People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's culture. And the Elves.

I believe they are going to introduce the justice system this summer, with those guilds following shortly. I am really looking forward to those additions, as I think it will add some neat things for my Nightblade. I really want poisons too B)

It's confirmed to be in development, but when it comes....your guess is as good as mine. I'll just say it will probably be before the Console versions are released.

When I imagine the whieeene when it is not be possible to open every container without making a crime - that is really challenge to introduce justice.
Also funny we should be able to kill any NPC if DB and justice are introduced - and it is also not easy change.
Any other way to implement (quest from DB like go and kill NPCX) - will be just trivial and follow the same path of themepark MMO.

Your sentiment would hold a bit more weight if not for ZOS's current track record for releasing content. I just can't see them rolling out content that isn't going to be more than a hot mess for a considerable amount of time before it fixed. Though i suppose they have time to better my opinion of their QC standards.

I think the soonest we can see even the Justice System is gonna be after major update 4 for TESO. With the next major update, which will be major updatte 2, slated for mid-summer, looks like well into 2015 before we see the TG and DB.

While i can wait as well as the next guy, i seriously don't like 'soon after launch' being changed with “I don’t have a date lined up, but it’s a little further out. I wouldn’t expect it in the first four updates.” That is a bigger bait and switch imo than the whole 'play your own way' folks are always so up in arms about.

And with ZOS doing this with content considered core to TES while pushing things like Craglorn and soon Crypt of Hearts asap, its got me seriously wondering about their priorities-as i've said elsewhere.

Their focus on craglorn seems misguided to me. I'm sure some people care, I've never bothered.

They are focusing too much on end game content being said that almost all players didn't even finish the VR1-5 zones

It was stated somewhere (either from a developer or the head guy) that we would see atleast four major content updates before Justice/Thieves/Dark Brotherhood.

Second update is coming in about two weeks, third update is coming in July so fourth content update should come late August/start of September.
So with a bit of luck, we'll see it at the end of this year.

Questing in this game is boring and repetitive. They better make these questlines worth it

Actually, both Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood are already implemented in the game. Unfortunately, since most of their NPCs were medium armored, weapon yielding NightBlades, they had to either quit or respec to casters. The remaining few, decided to merge their groups with the Mages Guild.

You can find both guilds in the first map (per faction) guild house. TG is on the first floor, second NPC to the left, while DB is downstairs, the NPC next to the exit.
