So we should grind for skills also?

I can remember back when I was lvl 47 in Craglorn.
I wanted to change my playstyle into a tank.
So I got a shield unlocked some skills in 1 handed and pulled it into the skillbar.
Killed 4 enemies and the skills where at LVL4 and I morphed them.

Now I am V12.
When I know unlock a new skill it takes CENTURIES until I am at a point where they are even LVL 2.... WTH is wrong?

What is an effeicient way to level a skill when you are V12?

I found the fastest way to level skills is to kill regular VR11+ mobs in Craglorn. I'm not sure if you can solo the packs with your current setup but that is what I did. It is far faster than joining these anom or grinding groups. Also you can do quests and switch to that weapon set when you turn them in.

find a group and grind with one dead slot. So for my DPS build I might have a heal spot taken to level it. Also when doing any quests before turning in the quest make sure you have all the skills you want leveled up on the bar and then turn in the quests. That's the best way I have found.

If you powerleveled from level 47 to vr12 in Craglorn then go do some vr quests and put the skills on your bar.

It depends on the level of the skill.

For example, the first skill of any weapons (the skill already available at weapon level 1) will level up fast, probably will level up with one or two monster kills, while the last skill (the one you get at weapon level 42) will level up a lot slower.

The system is there to help people who wanted to start a new line of weapon get the basic skills (which usually are the first or 2nd skills of the weapon) fast, but still have to grind for other advanced skills, which are unlocked later.

Turning in Quests doesn't get me any XP, at least the V10 and below ones.
So Mobgrinding it is....

I leveled almost all of my skills in vr zones by putting them on my second bar and switch to it before completing the quest. I leveled 5 skill lines (all class skills+ restoration/destruction staff).

I still have 2 un-morphed skills in destruction staff and one in restoration staff, but I am only V6, so there will be time for those, that if, if I have the gas left in the tank.
