It would be nice to enter an ingredient name and have the bank store filter for it

The issues have been resolved, and the ESO Store and Account System are now available. Thank you for your patience!

I understand the devs are all about working on taking the fun out of everything currently. But when they take a break from crushing class abilities and individuality it would be nice if we had a proper search in guild stores.

If I have an hour a day to log in I would find my monthly fee better spent in Cyrodil than 45 minutes of it searching endlessly through pages and pages of useless crafting ingredients to look for a provision ingredient. If narrowing the search down by name is out of the developers scope then maybe just narrow it down by actual category. I.E. food, drink and other such useful subcategories that don't lump hundreds of non related mats in the search.

Anyways, no complaints on the nerfing of every and anything in game people prefer to do together, just like to see a guild store search that is functional and helpful. Kthnx.

If it makes you smile, it needs to be nerfed

100% agree. If you don't mind using add-ons, Batman Store Filter is great for doing store searches by category and has saved me a huge amount of sanity. But yes, this should be in the base game.

I do understand there are addons but I have a few issues with them. they are pretty bad. First they need to register every single item in your guild store x 5 times searching 5 different stores and the overwhelming issue I take is that it was left to players to develop what should have been mandatory at release.

BSF is decent, not knocking the work players have put in for free on behalf of zos for dropping the ball on elementary game tools.

Oh, I 100% agree with that. I'm glad that players at least have the tools to try to put the missing functionality there (which makes some of these things less painful), but the functionality should not be missing in the first place.

The reason its not in the game ?
Answer ... Because Consoles use control pads .
This game like other new ones coming out was designed to be sold to console players . That's why you have such limited combat abilities . Most windows in the game are made to be used with a Control Pad . Only thing you really need keypad for is talking and if they add some form of VOIP ............

I am aware of the 'built around' console issues. A game needs to know what it wants to be at release. Single player? Multi player? Console? Pc? This game has had a massive identity crisis from the word go. However this is not the game being released on consoles. For the most part it is but in no way does that limit developers adding proper and appropriate searches in guild stores.

Anyway pointing out the obvious and dire limitations of why the game is what it is does not answer why the pc version doesn't have a few more extensive qualities expected by pc gamers.

    Ok try this . Money
Why should I ( if I was a game owner ) spend money on adding a tool that the Console users cant use ? So if you left because of it I saved the money and plus get new subs when I go console .

that doesn't make any sense. I do see what point you are trying to make but in what reality does a company set out to lose customers?

Getting a BASIC search funcionality is not included in the 15$ you are paying.

It's a minor niggle, I would like a filter like that, but I can select the sub-section of the bank and search manually.
