The West Wing

So I was wandering through Auridon this evening collecting sky shards and lore books. I've been through the area once or twice before but this time I decided to actually read the lore books and I came across something interesting in the one called "Why Don the Veil?" The second to last paragraph goes "We did not seek, nor did we provoke, this assault on our way of life. We did not expect, nor did we invite this confrontation. The true measure of a people's strength is how they rise to master the moment when it comes upon them." Language like that you do not easily forget and I remember hearing almost those exact words in season four episode two of the West Wing. I don't mind that, whatever you think of the politics the show itself is good. I find it funny though that in the show it is the good guys that say it, the President speaking about a bombing that had happened, whereas in the game it is the bad guys, the Veiled Heritance, the use them.

Interesting catch. Also interesting (after a bit of Googling) that the same episode contains the quote: "Good writers borrow from other writers. Great writers steal from them outright."
